The X-Wing miniatures game is almost the perfect tabletop experience. At least if you like Star Wars and fun things. About the only thing that could make it better would be to start introducing more units based on video game starfighters and oh what's this?Read more...

We think Microsoft may have an addiction. On top of the Ultimate discounts on offer this week, Microsoft has announced an entirely different crop of cheap games, available through February 24. Two sales at the same time? Madness!

If you want to take advantage of Microsoft's lapse in judgment, you can grab Ryse: Son of Rome for $40. We may even see more of this in the future, as Microsoft toys around with discount digital pricing on Xbox One.

Ridge Racer Unbounded is on sale for $5 and all of its DLC can be acquired for pennies on the dollar. Persona 4 Arena, Angry Birds: Star Wars and more on Xbox 360 are cheap too so, if you're interested, pop on over to Major Nelson's website for the full list of markdowns. [Image: Microsoft Studios]

It's still early at time of writing here in Australia, but this is already the funniest thing I've seen today. Titled 'Realistic Dinosaurs' it replaces the (still) jaw-droppingly brilliant CGI of Jurassic Park with… less realistic CGI versions of the same dinosaurs. This is one of those clips where I can't really explain why I'm laughing, I just am.Read more...

Grounded: The Making of The Last of Us, the behind-the-scenes documentary chronicling the development of The Last of Us, is now available on Amazon Instant Video.

The documentary follows developer Naughty Dog's creative process and provides insight into how the studio successfully cultivated a new IP following Uncharted: Drake's Fortune and Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. Formerly exclusive to The Last of Us season pass holders, this 85-minute feature is only available to Amazon users in the US right now, but Sony says it'll also be made available on the company's YouTube channel eventually.

Grounded was produced by Area 5, the outfit formed by ex-1UPers in 2009. Area 5 has since produced I Am Street Fighter, a documentary on the community surrounding arguably the most popular fighting game franchise on the planet, and most recently successfully crowd-funded a six-episode series highlighting the culture of video games, called Outerlands.

Right now, more than 100,000 people are trying their best to control a single trainer over at 'Twitch Plays Pokemon.' They know that if they send in a command via the 'Twitch Plays Pokemon' chat, it'll make the character in the streamed version Pokemon Red do something. What many of them don't know is that, in doing so, they're also controlling a game of Tetris elsewhere.Read more...

The Second Assault DLC for Battlefield 4 is now available on PC via Origin as well as PS4 and PS3 for Premium members, and should arrive tomorrow on Xbox 360. The DLC first launched with the game on Xbox One, and is free with the $50 Premium service.

Second Assault includes four new maps for the game: Caspian Border, Operation Metro, Operation Firestorm and Gulf of Oman. Each map is a "fan-favorite" from Battlefield 3, re-imagined in the Frostbyte 3 engine. The DLC will arrive on all consoles for non-Premium subscribers on March 4, as revealed last week.
