Gods Will Be Watching, the violent point-and-click thriller, was initially aiming for a February release, but its since been pushed back to the summer, giving the team more time to finish the game and more time to release moody trailers full of beautiful pixel art. The latest is below, is typically stylish, and apparently has something against kneecaps. … [visit site to read more]

Please don't hate me for this...but this Earthbound-style Flappy Bird game is pretty fun! The music is a tad off, but other than that, there's some fun to be had! Check out the link below to give it a go yourself.

The Order: 1886 brings you a good two and a-half minutes of gameplay in this trailer Sony released today. It lingers on the firepower (and quick timer events) available in the alternate-history landscape. Is it just me, or does that stuff look like it would be monstrously heavy with Victorian-era metallurgy?Read more...

A portion of a USGamer review...

If you want a serious soccer game, or if you favor monster-slaying to sportsmanship, Inzuma Eleven won't do much for you. If you're open to the idea combining the genres into an experience that's solid and a bit silly, Inazuma Eleven will make you laugh and cheer. Ole ole ole.

Our review of Pokemon X and Y spent a lot of time gushing over the introduction of 3D to the series, but now fans have taken things one step further by dragging the pixelated world of Pokemon Gold and Silver into the stereoscopic reality of the Oculus Rift headset.

The footage you see above was created by a YouTube user calling himself "Vaecon," who you may recall from his work in bringing The Legend of Zelda to the Oculus Rift. For his latest project, Vaecon modified the ongoing Pokemon 3D fan project to support the virtual reality headset. Some things don't quite work - text doesn't display properly and certain details are hard to make out - and it's apparent that the game was built for a more traditional display, but despite its flaws, the end result is a three-dimensional visit to the Johto Region.

While replicating this experience for yourself at home will require you to own an Oculus Rift headset, Pokemon 3D is a free download. It's not supported by Nintendo and could be struck down by a cease and desist order from the publisher at any time, but until then, the project's creators continue their efforts to add every known Pokemon and region to the 3D remake. Starting today, Diablo 3 is ... well, it's very different. Blizzard has released a humongous patch for the game, overhauling many of its features. The highlight is probably the introduction of "Loot 2.0," a heavy reworking of the loot system that was first announced alongside the Reaper of Souls expansion last year. Among other changes, Loot 2.0 features the "Smart Drop" system, making it more likely that the items players discover will be specifically tailored to their character class.

The Nightmare, Hell and Inferno difficulty modes have been replaced by a new dynamic difficulty system, which itself is divided into subcategories: Normal, Hard, Expert, Master and Torment, with the latter being further divided into six gradations. New social features include Clans and Communities, which give players access to private member rosters, news and info postings, and dedicated chat.

On top of all this are loads of character-specific updates, boss and monster tweaks, new stats for heroes and more than we could possibly squeeze into this post. For every little detail, you can peruse the patch notes, and Blizzard's official online Diablo 3 guide has also been updated to walk players through all the changes.

Oh, and don't forget that there's one huge change that's still to come: The auction house is closing on March 18.

These are love-hate relationships, in which the villain just wants to impress the hero or spend quality time together. Coming from a Develop-Online interview with Peter Molyneux in regards to his new game, Godus...

D: What about other devices with touch inputs like PlayStation Vita, Wii U, 3DS?

PM: I think the Vita is a possibility. I think the Wii U, if you tweak that very clumsy device, is a possibility but I find Wii U very awkward.

I was going to make a snide comment here, but I'll let Dumb and Dumber handle this...
