The wait is over! After months of teases, previews, trailers, and more, it’s finally time to strap on your helmet, straddle your bike, and smash face first into the ground at incredibly high speed.

That’s right; it’s time for Trials Fusion.

Get ready to push yourself, your skill, and your patience to the limit on grueling platform racing courses designed to drive you mad. But it’s not just a race! Flash some style with the all-new FMX Trick system and rack up high scores on special FMX trick tracks full of big air and bigger crashes.

“But Trials Fusion guys, I don’t even LIKE motorcycles,” you plead. Well that’s utterly ridiculous, but don’t sweat it because we have you covered. Trials Fusion comes complete with alternate modes of transportation for all your vehicular mayhem needs. We’ve got ATVs and BMX bikes just waiting to be taken for a spin.

And what’s the best part of Trials Fusion’s unique brand of physics-based platform racing? Why, being better than everyone else of course. Trials Fusion comes fully stocked with ways to dominate the competition. Invite your friends (and enemies) over for a round of in-person local multiplayer or shame them from afar by dominating the online leaderboards.

Think you’ve mastered all the tracks so there’s nothing left to do? False! The legendary track editor is back and better than ever in Trials Fusion. Build anything your big brain can imagine and upload your tracks to Track Central to test the mettle of your fellow riders.

So there you have it. Trials Fusion is revved up, ready to go, and better than ever. We’ll see you on the track.

Trials Fusion is available now on PlayStation 4. For more information on Trials Fusion, follow us on Facebook and Twitter.

Conception II: Children of the Seven Stars is out today for PS Vita, and you know what that means? It’s time to start classmating! Conception II is a dungeon crawler/social-sim hybrid where you’re put into the role of “God’s Gift” — a teenager bestowed with unprecedented amounts of power from the Star God. As a disciple, you’re tasked with saving the world of Aterra by pairing up with one of the game’s seven heroines and clearing out infestations of monsters.

Of course, to do that, you’ll need your army of Star Children — magical beings that fight for you in battle. You make these Star Children through a magical ritual with the heroines, and you can bring up to nine Star Children with you into battle. There’s 30 classes of Star Children to choose from, and the stats of the heroine, the heroine’s mood (You gotta be nice to them!), and other rare items affect what classes are available to you, so spend your time wisely.

Oh — and be sure to turn on your ad-hoc networks; you can actually classmate with another player’s heroines or even the other players themselves in a process called “classmanting” (Yeah, that’s a thing).

13855298004_6ca401a581_n.jpg13854917805_3db0a15f35_n.jpg

And even if you’re planning to get the game, you should start with the demo first. Your progress transfers over to the full version of the game, and you’ll receive a starting gift of some strong in-game items.

Conception II is around 40-60 hours to complete the main story and side quests (depending on how grind-heavy you get), so make sure you charge your Vita often!

Get those thinking caps on and ready the crew for an intense battle of the minds — in a “not too serious” way. It’s time for That Trivia Game!

That Trivia Game on PS4 is all about trivia. We spent a large portion of our time researching and creating questions that cover a wide range of categories and topics. A thousand questions were hand-picked out of the thousands of candidates to ensure we had a fair and balanced collection of relevant and current trivia. The difficulty levels were carefully balanced so that everyone can get involved — there’s nothing worse than being the only person playing that doesn’t know any of the answers. That Trivia Game has four rounds with fun and varying ways of playing. Each round adds its own twist to the trivia format, making every round fun and engaging, while still being easy to play.

As mentioned earlier, That Trivia Game has more than a thousand questions in a wide range of categories. This means that you can play around 40 games of That Trivia Game without seeing repeating questions. And at the price of $9.99, that’s less than 1 cent per question!

13769291195_04cf88eb8b_n.jpg13769303563_74c87216a0_n.jpg

That Trivia Game was built from the ground up as a pick-up-and-play game. We created the gameplay around the premise that That Trivia Game could be played by gamers with a wide range of experience, as well as non-gamers, too. The biggest hurdle was interfacing all kinds of players and non-players of varying ages with answering the questions. We designed the answering interface to work intuitively with your hand and DualShock4. This intuitive interface makes it effortless to select your intended answer, even for family or friends who have never held a controller.

That Trivia Game will be available today as a digital download for $9.99. Add your comments or questions here, we’d love to hear from you.

A few weeks ago we added two classic Killzone multiplayer maps to Killzone Mercenary. Since then we’ve been working on adding more to Killzone Mercenary, and finally it’s here on PS Vita. We’re very pleased to announce the release of our latest update for Killzone Mercenary, delivering an offline multiplayer experience to our 8 maps.

With the purchase of the Botzone Soldier Training Pack, all of our multiplayer maps can be played offline in Mercenary or Guerrilla Warfare modes, against up to 7 AI soldiers. As the game host, you’ll have control over the number of teammates and enemies joining you in battle.

In team modes, you have the luxury of picking your compatriots and foes: play with 3 against 1 for a quick kill, or go brave and take on an entire team of bots alone. Your choice, soldier!

Killzone Mercenary Botzone brings new skills to the series’ traditionally strong AI bot experience: Vanguard usage, zip line navigation, interrogations, rescues, capsule hacking, and valour card collection are all behaviors unique to the game and our AI is going to challenge you with all of them. Not only that, but our cunning bots will also be using many of the game’s diverse loadouts to stop you in your tracks.

And it doesn’t stop there; you’ll have the chance to collect some of those harder-to-obtain multiplayer trophies in an offline arena — provided your skills are up to the challenge, of course!

Finally, we’ve also taken opportunity with this update to fix up some longer standing collision issues reported in the multiplayer maps. As such, the update will be mandatory for anyone wishing to play online multiplayer, with 23 MB required on the memory card to download it (549 MB if you’ve not downloaded our previous updates).

Today, the title update will be made available for download, and the Botzone Soldier Training Pack will also be available for purchase from PlayStation Store. The Botzone Soldier Training Pack will be required in order to unlock the in-game Botzone menu.

Happy fragging, and enjoy your training!

It’s not too long now until PS Vita Pets launches in June, but maybe that’s too long? So to keep you going until then we’re launching a mobile app, PlayStation Vita Pets: Puppy Parlour.

13850731105_6e83c2da23_z.jpg

We wanted to give people the opportunity to get to know the pups in advance of the full game’s release and experience one of the core aspects at the same time, so we put together the app to allow players to run their own puppy pampering parlour. Each day a new dog will arrive into your parlour and you’ll be tasked with meeting their specific needs through a range of activities such as taking them for a walk, showering, feeding and playing a number of different games.

13851104554_cbd5ee679a_z.jpg

Games include Dream Chase, where you race to collect golden bones, and Snack Balance, where you tilt your device to keep your dog steady while it balances a tasty treat on its nose. Completing these games and looking after your pups will also earn you points that you can use to upgrade your parlour and unlock new items and clothes.

As you can see, there’s loads going on! One of the really cool things about the app is that you can unlock exclusive costumes that can be transferred over to the main PS Vita game, so they’ll be ready and waiting for your own pup in June when the full game is released.

The Android version of Puppy Parlour is available now, and the iOS version is coming next week. We’ll be back again soon with even more info on the game, so keep your eyes on PS.Blog!

Mickey Mouse tackles a remade 16-bit classic this week on PlayStation Plus, as the PlayStation 3 version of Sega's Castle of Illusion is this week's featured entry in Sony's Instant Game Collection.

Developed by Sega Studios Australia, Castle of Illusion expands on Mickey's classic platformer with new exploration elements, 3D platforming sequences, and retooled boss encounters. The result retained the playful spirit of its inspiration, earning 4 out of 5 stars in our review. The PlayStation Plus version of Castle of Illusion also includes a downloadable copy of the 1990 Sega Genesis edition of the game, previously available exclusively for pre-order buyers.

PlayStation Plus members can download Castle of Illusion for free starting tomorrow, and the bundle will remain available through April 28.

You can literally smell the excitement here at VooFoo towers, and it’s not (only) due to the lack of personal hygiene time we’ve had as of late. We’ve teamed up with publisher Ripstone to bring you our latest, greatest version of Pure Chess, which hits PS4 tomorrow. And we’re extremely proud of our baby.

If you don’t know who we are, VooFoo Studios is a small team of passionate developers based in sunny Birmingham, right in the heart of England. We’ve always prided ourselves on making highly playable, photo-realistic games, and thanks to the power of the PS4 hardware we’ve been able to turn the dial up to eleven.

Displayed at 1080p and running at a silky-smooth 60 frames per second, Pure Chess on PS4 is a visual tour-de-force. We’ve doubled the texture sizes, added many extra layers of post-processing, added contact shadows, and applied ultra-realistic depth-of-field… which is a rather boring way of saying that this is a seriously good looking chess game! Couple this with a massively improved custom networking system to provide a much slicker online experience and we’re confident you’ll love Pure Chess just as much as we do.

Pure Chess is available on April 15th and will be $7.99, but you can also get your hands on the best value Complete Bundle for $14.99 which includes all the DLC. PlayStation Plus users can look forward to some cheeky discounts at launch, too!

Both VooFoo and Ripstone will be doing some code giveaways, so get following us.
