People have previously suggested that any posts made as an RP character should STAY as that RP character's post.

As we all know, editing your RP character will alter all of the posts made by that character to have that name and avatar, while deleting a character reverts all posts made as the character to your username.

Francis has said that it is so 'you can edit the posts made by your RP characters, in case of typos/mistakes.'

Here is what M'aiq is suggesting: When you click the delete button on an RP character, you are taken to the confirmation screen, but with 3 options:

Are you sure you wish to delete your character? You may choose to have all posts made by this character revert to your username, or you can let the posts "secure" their current name and avatar. Be warned, allowing the posts to stay as they are will remove your ability to edit them!

I could secure the name, but not the avatar.

Meh, It claimed I had 0. I just randomly typed in 10 characters.

And securing the name would still be awesome.
