Grah. Looks like I missed my MKW match while I was in Vancouver. CURSE YOU, VANCOUVER. Not like I had a chance, anyway.
So...
I think one of the only things this trip has accomplished is reminding me how much I dislike Vancouver, and how much I dislike my relatives on my mom's side of the family.
Vancouver... Sucks. The hotel was nice, but the streets are just... Evil. People throw lit cigarettes on passing cars, there's at least 5 crack addicts (Or some other type of nasty drug) in between every building, perpetual police sirens, and street gangs everywhere.
Since I went there because someone... Related to me (I forget how) had a child, and there was some huge banquet. Only thing is, it was at a seafood restaurant. A Chinese seafood restaurant. For those who haven't been to a formal Chinese restaurant before, they serve one dish, wait for everyone at the table to finish it off then serve the next. The first dish: Pork, which was literally 90% fat and 5% unidentifiable substance that was apparently chewy. Second dish: Jellyfish and crab balls (Not the way you're thinking >:U). Third dish: Shark fin soup with tiny bits of lobster floating around. The tiny bits of lobster include the eyeballs.
I'm really judgemental about food depending on both the appearance and the ingredients, so I went mostly hungry for the whole dinner. Not that I felt like eating after seeing most of that. >_o
Final dish: Chicken chow mein and fried rice. What a coincidence! The only food that I'd actually eat is served after I've lost my appetite from seeing blobs of goop, which is apparently edible. .-.
Oh, and right after dinner, as we walked outside the building, a naked guy ran by screaming "BADONKADONKADONKADONKADONK". He got arrested. D:
As for my relatives...
Don't get me wrong. They're all nice people at heart, but since they're all Chinese, they treat anyone who speaks only English like children. When the jellyfish stuff is served, one of my reeally distant relatives (There was at least 200 people there, since the extended family is massive) looked over at me, dumped a few pieces on my plate and said "Look, Kevin! Jellyfish! Mmm-mmm! Yum yum tasty!" And made tummy-rubbing gestures. Dammit, I'm not 4.
And literally every one of the women there was like that.
Also... exactly 8 of the 200 people were under the age of 20. 2 of them male. One being me, other being my cousin who lives a bit up island. So... I really had nothing to do there.
Moving right along.
The B.C. Ferries are awesome. There's about 3 different food places, a gift shop (Which has a lot more than just souvineirs), and an arcade on each. On the way back, a vending machine randomly dropped a coke out as I walked by, so I got a free coke. Yay.
This morning, we had breakfast at IHOP, and since we don't have any of those where I live (Or at least within a 5 hour driving area). Belgian waffles = heavenly. I mean it.
Finally, FFTA2 and Justice For All get. At least I had a lot of time to play them through the trip.
So... I see franis brought back nametags, dammit. Anything else I missed? Any shit that went down? Any shit that went UP? |

Extreme shit went down.
Nametags dammit came and caused chaos, almost turning OT into RPOT again.
There's also a few idiots who change their name every chance they get.
EDIT: Francine just changed to Fire The Cannons. *adds her to idiot list*

When's the last time someone used the arcade? Or A gooey bomb?
Same thing's going to happen this time, like it did with nametags before. |
