The person who emailed me back informed me they appreciated the interest, but the problem was they can't take fan-based stuff for legal reasons (what those are, I don't know).

However...

I may have a trick up my sleeve that could help... Wink

Well, no, of course not, silly. :p

However...

...Well, no, I guess my idea probably won't work.

Thing is, my family knows someone who works at Nintendo, so they get employee discounts and stuff...I was thinking maybe sending it along through them, but since I already e-mailed, something tells me they'd pick up on it right away.

It's in Japanese, and there's no email link.

They probably wouldn't pick up on it. One person isn't going to remember it. I'm sure they get TONS of fan-ideas every day.

Well, I was going to give them the printed-out version of my ideas and show it to them. They could hand it in and see what the higher-ups think.

Hey, people!

Well, I know it's been a while since the last post, but Chaos Stev-0 and I have something to show you...

Behold some sprites for TBoA!

I did NOT make any of these sprites: all credit goes to Stev-0.

Pictured are Arcanus, Koopella, Old Blue, Spy Gal, Commander Bridget, Goombuster Goomba, Dayzee Rex, MechTail, a bandit, and Hooke.

I'm sorry we can't show you any Time Knights; Stev-0 ran into trouble when he was making them.

So...what do you think so far?

Am I gonna get yelled out for posting on something that's a few weeks old? Cause I totally have to post something after reading Warlord's outline. I mean, the thought into this is absolutely grand. I didn't think there was anyway to beat SPM's dimension-traveling epic-ness, but this might just be the storyline to do it. It does take a tad too much from Thousand Year Door and kinda lacks the ability to stand on its own in the series, which is kinda a trademark of the individual Paper Mario games, but all in good fun. And the time-traveling concept rocks. I'd like to see a bit more of it in the outline, unless it's also key to a lot of sidequests.

Oh, and is this thread still open to tossing around other Paper Mario ideas?
