I beat The World Ends With You {At least, the main plotline.}, and it only took me 14 hours and 26 minutes! {Keep in mind that I kind of ignored finding all the bonus features and stuff. I just kind of zipped through the game, but I plan on taking it slower on my second playthrough.} Most games usually take me a lot longer. :D
But that's probably because I spent every waking moment playing it. I swear, that game was so addictive. Last night, when I was trying to fall asleep at 2:00 AM, I kept staring at my DS, and I could feel the game calling me...calliiiiiiiiing...
Anyways, the battle style took a while to get used to, but as soon as I got the hang of it, I was {-coughcoughkindacoughcough-} unstoppable. I kind of ignored the whole card things, though. <.< >.>
Pins, brands, and other items confused me at first, too, but I caught on fast.
I fell in love with the music {Listening to the soundtrack right now.}, characters, and plot immediately. I got all excited whenever a cutscene popped up, because I love cutscenes for some reason. {I actually lost to Pi Face on purpose once just to see the cutscene that came before the battle with him at the end of Chapter 2.}
I laughed, I cried, I got my first taste of fangirling over fictional characters {-coughcoughJoshuaandMinamimotocoughcough-} and I overall just had a great time with this game. I hope that there's more games like this one. Although, I think it would be hard to pull off a sequel of it...but who knows? {I'd like to see what happened at the end of the game, when Neku, from what I understand, spends another 7 days in the UG...is that covered in those reports or the secret ending or anything?}
Also, Another Day was...weird. Well, I guess Tin Pin Slammer DID need more attention...
Anyways, sorry for being less active on the 1st to today. I was just satisfying an obsession~ |

It took FOREVER. I looked in at least seven stores, including the normally-reliable Gamestop, but nothing. Then, when we went to return a game my little brother rented at Blockbuster, they had a single copy. I rented it, and asked if there was any way I could purchase it, since my last resort was the Internet. {I don't like ordering stuff online, I don't really know why...I just don't. .-.}
The person there said if I kept it until the 17th and payed $40 {I've got enough for that, and I'd still have at least $20 left. I'm willing to make sacrifices to keep everything I unlocked and stuff}, I would be able to keep it. :D |

Lucky. Actually I never thought about buying a used copy online T_T DS cards are pratically indestructable unless you hack it until oblivion. One of my games went through the wash 3 times and another I found in my favorite pair of jeans after misplacing it for a month, so who knows how many times that one was washed... Ima gonna check ebay now. |

In other words, I feel your pain. ;~;
I still haven't gotten the hang of the two-screen battle system. Did you? |

@Perrault: Yep, I got the hang of it. I just do a bunch of D-Pad mashing, and kind of ignore the card stuff...but it ends up working out, anyways.
@Plastic Maya: I lost to him more than once, somewhere around 3-5 times. He's either so zetta fast, or I'm so zetta slow. :< |
