Wet air immediately filled her nostrils, the sound of pouring rain overlapping Ocelot's limping footsteps behind her. The sky was covered with heavy rainclouds, and it was pouring in sheets all across the city. |

There wasn't a single person in sight... except for Shalashaska, catching up to her. His revolver was drawn, limping after Devin with it pointed at her.
"You... bitch... get... back... HERE!" he screamed, pathetically trying to chase her. |

The rock flew through the air, striking him in the middle of his forehead. He slipped, hitting his head yet again hard on the curb and blacking out. He was bleeding slightly from where the rock landed in his face, and it wasn't unlikely he had a nasty gash on the back of his head as well.
His gun was carried by the flow of water in the gutter, down into a sewer drain. |
