the boy looked again at his watch, this was a nervous habit of his to constantly check what time it was. Due to his present situation and the distress it was causing him he now checked his watch with even more frequency. He checked it again, not surprisingly the numbers on the watch hadn't changed since it had only been a few seconds since he last checked. He was walking into the jungle now, he had heard more noises and he was certain that they were coming from this direction. The noises seemed human which might mean that there were other people on the island. Hopefully they would be able to help him |

the boy had found this small grouping of fellow human beings. His spirits soared when he saw them because they could mean food and shelter and possibly a way for him to get back home. He watched them from behind a tree trying to remain unseen. He wanted to be sure that they were friendly before making himself known to them. |
