I saw the first question, and my brain short-circuited.
I understand long words, but not when they're clustered together so closely. @_@
*sigh* I'll try again.

EDIT: Compass get!

Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -3.44

... Some of these questions were very odd. Did they expect total idiots or fascists to take the te- never mind.

... I just don't fully comprehend this... gotta read the supplement stuff.

EDIT: Yay, close to Mandela and the Dalai Lama... Well, I'm mostly liberal. I think people and corporations should have their freedoms, BUT only as far as it goes against the freedom of others, present or future. The market, environment, etc. have to be protected. Tolerance and learning are important to me.

I don't fully understand the left/right thing anyway.

It's simple, really. If you're towards the left, you're more for a government regulated economy. If you're more towards the right, you're for a more open market with less restrictions. In the far left side of the spectrum, you'd probably believe that one shouldn't be allowed to open up his own business, but rather find work in a job that the government creates. In the far right side of the spectrum, very few jobs are created by the government.

The moral/social "Liberal/Conservative" thing (Which most people refer to first when talking about liberals and conservatives), however, mostly depends on how far up or down you are. Most conservatives find themselves closer to the top, whereas most liberals find themselves closer to the bottom.

Being a firm believer in the right to own a business and make a profit, the concept of competition, and the human nature of self-interest, I found myself in the lower right area.

Ah, I figure I should be a little bit more to the right, then. Makes sense that I'm close to the middle, though.

I guess it goes well with my view on society. Which probably can be summarized to "Some things are just too free, and some things are just too not free."

Seems I've gotten a bit less liberal when it comes to economics, but I am still the socially neutral bastard I was.
