That voice of the person that called, it sounds very familiar, I just can't think of were I heard it...
Anyway, Nintendo is being really stupid.
It was FAN MADE, for NO PROFIT. They worked HARD on making all of those textures, to please the fans of SSBB, and possibly get Nintendo MORE money off of that game. :/

I know, right? They haven't shut down any rom-selling websites, or VNes or anything, instead, they've gone after the fans. ._.

It's totally nintendo's fault that the technical support team doesn't know anything about what they're legal team shut down.

While it sucks that that happened, it's not the tech support's problem.

Same here! The voice sounds familiar too... meh, whatever.

Anyways, is looks like syntaxerror.net is for sale, so I'm not sure what the kid was talking about. But you're right, Nintendo probably did want to cover it up.
