I concur with the above poster.

*snaps fingers and an elaborate, victorian-era library materializes from the featureless grey void of the topic.*

You are sitting in a victorian-era library, in a comfortable stuffed armchair.
Around you is a circle of similiar chairs, in which your discussion partners are lounging.
A fire is roaring in the nearby fireplace and warming the room whilst raindrops beat a steady tattoo against the windows.
The shelves around you are stacked with books, but nearly empty - however, whenever the title of a book is spoken, it pops into existence and sorts itself into the shelves.

On small side tables next to each armchair lie refreshments, such as shortbread and tea, but also every other conceivable thing the person adjacent to it wants to snack on.

I say that whoever agrees with the top two people do have a good sense of taste regarding books.

Speaking of which, I should continue Atlas Shrugged.

In order:
Dragon Weather
Dragon Society

Seriously. Those books are the shit. I demand that everyone who hasn't already read it to read it.

Anything by Chuck *crag* Palahniuk.
Not just Fight Club.

Read books like Choke and Haunted.
Sure, it's mostly shock value reading, but it's good stuff.

Well, my input:

One day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich, by Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn
Airframe, by Michael Crichton
Myst: The Book of Ti'ana and Myst: The Book of D'ni by David Wingrove (and assistance from the game's creators, Robyn and Rand Miller).
(PS: Book of Atrus isn't that good, but it's somewhat needed to read D'ni. For Chronology, it goes Ti'ana -> Atrus -> D'ni)
Around the World in 80 Days, and 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, by Jules Verne
The Time Machine, and War of the Worlds, by H.G. Wells
The Narnia Series, by C.S. Lewis
The Hobbit, and The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, by our buddy J.R.R. Tolkien

...That's all I can think of. Quick question, though: are comics allowed as well, or no?
