There was a Portugese guy with a French-English dictionary and A French-Portugese dictionary. He wrote a book entitled English as She is Spoke containing these phrases and more:
For the parts of the body, "Of the Man: The superior lip, the inferior lip, the fat of the leg."
Food, "Eatings: Some black pudding; A little mine; Hog fat; Some wigs; Vegetables boiled to a pap."
The last two are my favorites.
Swimming instructions, "For to swim: I row upon the belly on the back and between two waters."
And lastly, idiom, "Idiotism: Cat scalded fear the cold water."
