I've always loved Luigi just for being the underdog, but for a time I went into a phase of considering them equal or even leaning towards Mario (I loved him in the first two Smash Bros. compared to Luigi, preferred him in Mario Kart etc. to Luigi, and loved how his voice was ALWAYS the same while Luigi's constantly shifts from being higher pitched to lower pitched than Mario's game after game)
But upon playing the Paper Marios and experiencing the dialogue-filled Luigi compared to the 'i grunt and play charades to speak' Mario, and seeing the just plain AWESOME iteration of Luigi the put into Brawl, I'm going back towards the man in green. Though I still love Mario. |
