HERE'S A BUNCH OF TERMS THAT YOU'LL SEE A LOT

~

Anti-Oress Holder ~ An Oress Holder who strays from Castle Oress to fulfill their own goals.

Competition ~ A contest in the Test Reality to see who's worthy of becoming one of Them.

Contestant ~ Someone participating in the Competition.

Her ~ A fallen one of Them; She used to watch over the Test Reality, then quit, hence the Competition. She's currently residing in Fray's subconscious.

Manipulated ~ The 'partner' of a Manipulator; someone who's shown the world in a...different manner.

Manipulator ~ A being with the powers to manipulate reality, but not to the extent of godmodding. There are only three so far; Halyn, Niya, and Verity.

Marionette ~ Someone who is able to be controlled by another; the only example being Fray. However, many consider themselves to be Marionettes to Them.

Neren's Reality ~ The Reality that the Tested go to when they die. Here, Neren reviews the lives of the dead, and sends them to where they need to go.

Oress ~ A magical orb-like object created by Umbra to mark Real people. Each one has a special power assigned to it.

Oress Holder ~ Someone in possession of an Oress.

Real ~ Someone or something that's genuinely real, and is capable of having a strong subconscious. These people are known as the Tested in the Test Reality.

Reality ~ A different plane of existence, really. Some are very large and contains many different dimensions and universes, while others, like the Test Reality, are very small and may contain only one mere planet.

Rules ~ Rules for the Test and the Competition. Supposedly, only those who are running the Competition/Test know them.

Second Floor ~ The mysterious floor in Castle Oress that's unreachable. Rumor has it that weird things happen around there...

Strawberry Sammich ~ The ultimate source of joy and power. And the only thing that Cel is decent at making...

Stuff ~ stuff stuff stuff

Test ~ A test started by Them to see how specific people respond to different situations; most of them not very pleasant.

Test Reality ~ The Reality all of the Oress Plot characters come from; it's the Reality where They perform Their various tests.

Tested ~ A Real person in the Test Reality.

Them ~ An odd group who supposedly exist outside of Entirety; even beyond the 4th Wall. Despite their God-like existence, the only power they really have is in the Test Reality. Outside of the Test Reality, they're virtually powerless, and simply watch the progress of various Realities.

Unreal ~ Someone or something that doesn't technically exist. You can see them, feel them, and they can even think; but they're still just a mirage created by Them to make various Realities seem more full, to make people think the world is normal. The Test Reality is full of Unreal people.
