March 9th, 2008.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl released in North America.

Now, it's one year later.

Time to reflect. Is it everything you could have hoped for?
Better?
...Worse?

It's already a year? Damn... time went by.

Played it, had fun while it lasted. Now, it's boring. SSBM is twenty times more fun, honestly.

While it wasn't as fun as I had hoped it would be, I still liked it. I'd probably still play it if it weren't for the fact that it doesn't work well anymore.

What do you people see in Melee anymore? Honestly, the graphics only did a small amount of characters justice now that I look back, and the gameplay felt as if I was trying to push a boulder sometimes. The soundtrack is the thing I like most about it now.
Brawl was similar in terms of gameplay, i'll admit that, but the sheer chaos of the items system and the stages can liven it up, whereas Melee's items barely did anything unique outside of damage dealt when you beat someone with it.

I still listen to the soundtrack from time to time. If I'm really bored I'd start Brawling.
Although Brawl got boring after a few months. Melee, honestly, kept me playing for SEVEN years. Although I do admit Brawl is better, its just the same thing with new characters and better soundtrack.
Maybe it would've been different if I didn't look at all the spoilers after its release in Japan.

I haven't Brawled for nearly a year, that means.

It lost its touch a week or two afterwords. 3:|════׀

I still play it occasionally. It was an improvement on Melee, but not quite worth the hype.

And in about two weeks it will be the anniversary of when Flavio stopped playing Brawl.

Flavio still plays Melee all the time, though.

lol you tourneyfags with your silly melee

The only reason I don't play it is because I lost it. While I did have it, though, it was a pretty *crag* awesome timekiller. If I still had it with me i'd totally play it on random occasions.
