Anyways, I do believe that Gay Marriage is wrong, but I can tolerate it.
Marriage is SUPPOSED TO BE between a man and a woman.
HOWEVER
If they called Gay Marriages "Civil Unions", a lot more people would tolerate it. Why?
Because many religions state that Marriage is between a Man and a Woman, so people go insane when they see otherwise. Plus, some of us still have discrimination in us as part of our human nature.
To the primitive human mind, "Marriage =\= Civil Union", so all it takes is to give Gays the same rights as heterosexuals, and call their unions, "Civil Unions", and most people will be happy as a butterfly on a sunny spring day. |

I may be a Christian, but I have no quarrel with gays, and nothing against gay marriage. I honestly hate it when people say that God doesn't love gays. It may be in Leviticus, but whoever wrote that was on drugs. Anyways, the Bible also says that God (if there is a God) loves all his children, and there are no exceptions, not even gays. |

Think about this. Would you like it if you couldn't marry someone you loved? Doesn't matter if that person is male or female. And give more specifications to your words. I absolutely hate it when someone says "It's just wrong." Why? Well, there's no reasoning to it.
And honestly, I kinda doubt you've met any homosexual people that don't follow the media-perpetrated stereotype(which is quite a lot, actually), from those words. Even then, when you meet one, you won't realize it until they flat out tell you. They're like vegetarians, only to a different extent. Vegetarians prefer non-dairy products, homosexuals prefer those of their same sex.
And this leads me to my next statement. How would you know if gays cared about whether it's called a marraige or not? Again, you're using the media-perpetrated stereotype that makes them look like all homosexuals only think that they're better because they're homosexual. That's not the case, really. They're reasonable people, I've met a few, and I can say that. They'll settle for anything close to a marraige, even if the only difference is in name only, since it's the outcome/process that matters.
Really, though, back up your words better next time. |

I've known many a homosexual, and none where like the way the media portrays them. The media twists everything for it's sick little game. It's hard to find any HONEST media production these days.
I don't disapprove of homosexuality, I just find it pointless. Well...I guess in my book that IS disapproving it, but not "just cause". I'm an engine of logic, not feeling. That's my reasoning. But meh, whatever. Just don't bug me, and I could care less what the hell you do with you life.
Flame me for this and I will rip out your throat. I find it funny how some people will sit there and yell at people for being intolerant of stiff like homosexuality, and yet, they're just being intolerant to other peoples opinions. Thus, they are hypocrites. Why can't everyone just mind there own business, and get on with there lives? *sigh* |

This. I agree with every part ('cept teh not approving, I don't care one little bit). I love you. Why can't people get on with their lives? What happened in the last some-years that people hate themselves so much they try to spread their loathing onto others because their lives have become so pathetic all other meaning has become pointless? |

I think it's horrible how people dicriminate. Honestly, it's like what we though around the late 1960's of african americans. They should be able to marry. They love eachother, they want to be together, it isn't harming ANYTHING at all. Give me 2 GOOD reasons they shouldn't be together. And If you say It's not right or they shouldn't, say WHY it's not right.
