The cure is so simple.
But seriously, I don't think that it is going to live up to being a huge monumental epidemic. They said the same for SARS, Bird Flu, and a few other diseases, and what did it ever turn up? |

Northeast USA | But California can spread to Oregon and Washington. It can spread east, and Texas can spread in all directions. Almost all of America is screwed. Not to mention air travel.

Just because a few people get an infection doesn't mean everyone in the country will automaticly have it. | I know, but it CAN happen. People should prepare.

Government officials in multiple European countries are treating it like a pandemic. Also, the U.S.'s standing postition about the SIV (Swine Influenza Virus) that that it's a huge threat, but not quite a pandemic. There have been 149 deaths from it in Mexico, and it's rapidly spreading there.
I just saw it on Yahoo!, while checking my email. I don't have a link, though. You should be able to find it easily when you go on there.

I don't think you understand.
The only reason those Mexican people died is because the Healthcare in Mexico is like, "Here, I waved this Magic Wand on you. Now you're cured." We have MUCH better Healthcare. |

I don't think you understand that all the major countries in the world are taking major precautions about it.
But I can easily see where you're coming from, and it does make me feel quite a bit better to know that.

149/109 million people isn't a pandemic.
Seriously, that's more like what an earthquake would take. |

I know it's not a pandemic, yet, but WHO (World Health Organization) is going to extremes to try to cure it. They're predicting it's going to be the next major pandemic, and they think it could "take the lives of millions."
That's bad.

Nothing to see here.
Little over 100 people in Mexico have died.
It IS "north", for it is in New York, but, that's not a big deal. It won't get far from there.
This isn't going to turn out to be Pandemic.
Nothing to see. Nothing to worry about. Believe me.
Having said that, it will be an interesting story to watch others overreact. |

I would have to say that the first few cases of swine flu has already hit Asia.As long as people act fast to cure it,it won't spread.I think that is why people in Mexico are dying. |

No news on if we has swine flu in BC. Which is weird because we're right beside California.
( Then again our school just did a California trip, and one of the kids could have caught it there, but I'm not really worried. ) Canada and the US have good health care, we'll pull through it as long as we listen to what the Health Associates of Canada and the US tell us to do, which is "TO NOT GO TO AN EMERGENCY ROOM IF YOU FEEL FLUISH" cuz apparently it breeds there. |

I added more articles about how serious swine flu is. Still think it's something to laugh about?
