I think someone said earlier that the same exact thing happened with the Avian flu.

Silly Pokemoneinstein, the media loves blowing things out of proportion so you watch and read the news more, like you obviously are doing. IF you paid attention to the news regularly and didnt go to YAHOO news for your info you would know we already have 2 drugs that are effective against the disease

What's this? Soldiers in Iraq saved 15 children from a burning orphanage?

Nah, let's cover the 3 soldiers that got killed by a car bomb.

Pain is their gold.

Yes.

Ha ha ha.

As I said before, this is just another Avian Flu that will go away within the next couple of months. I don't really care that two cases have been confirmed in Connecticut, I still won't believe it will be that deadly.

I really don't care about this flu.

I'll just live like I normally live. If it gets me, it gets me. There's no way stopping it-- unless the united states decides to shut down everything, or burn the bodies of the infected, or create a vaccine.

That's the reason I'm still iffy on this.

Besides, normal Flu kills 36,000 every year. It's not the end of the world.

Yup, heard about it. That doesn't mean we're all doomed.
Pokemoneinstein, your acting like its the end of the world. Calm down. Like the others said, this is something that will go away in a few weeks. Besides, we're in 2009, we're much much smarter than before. Its not the Bubonic Plague, yet your acting like it is. You really need to take a chill pill o.o

The swine flu is nothing interesting for me. When humans get rabies like in Left4Dead, I'll be more than interested.
But no, its just a damn flu : (

And he wasn't even two, so he didn't really have any protection against it.

The pandemic level thing was raise to 5 today, which means that it's one step away from becoming a full-fledged pandemic. No cases reported in Wisconsin though, which is good.

I'm still convinced that this is the next avian flu. Some people will die, but it won't last for very long, and everyone will forget about it. I think that the swine flu will definitely have a larger impact than the avian flu, but I'm certain that it's not going to be the end of the world.

Overreaction at its finest. Hell, has the damn thing even infected half the world?

Seriously, it's just another flu. Get a vaccine, make lots of it, give it to people, and viola, all is well.

I'm really getting sick and tired of hearing about this damn flu so much. It's not even that big yet, and I'm sure that the scientists will have medicindes to fight this thing in a month or two, maybe earlier. The only time I'll worry about this is if it becomes a real threat and becomes a pandemic worth worrying about, or if I'm infected with it and it gets really bad. 3:|════׀
