serious suggestion: We should have the option to turn the swear filter off. Why not?

YES

To add on to the suggestion, it should only show the words to the members who turned it off
It will still be *crag* to guests

YES! But to add to it: we should have heavy, medium, light, and off.

Heavy would be all inappropriate words.
Medium would be only the worse ones. (*crag* shit, maybe nigger, and a few others)
Light would be only *crag*
Off would be nothing

I hate the filter. I use "fauck" if I need to.

I would like to do this, but I think this might get the site blocked in many places. Like...

-You turn it off while at school, and they then auto-block the site for everyone.
-You turn it off at home, and your parents block the site.

Many of you would understand the consequences, but also many of you would not. I'm worried about the stupid kids who turn it off and then try to get me in trouble.

You have a point, Francis.
But, since I require this option, I suggest something to you: Have the filter settings set at the beginning of each session.
That is, unless you included that in your plan of what it would be.
Then, I can only say, add a disclaimer, man.
EDIT: Do that last thing anyway if you ever do implement this.
