Simply put, these books should have never existed.

I've seen more effort from people who AREN'T Meyer.

Tolkien (it took him 12 years to finish LOTR; look what he got)
Rowling (obvious)

And many more.

These books are practically asking for my lighter to "accidentally" set them on fire.

I know. And apparently, the only thing she knew about vampires when she wrote the books was that their skin was pale. My sister saw an interview, and she said that the author said that AFTER writing the books, she did research. Apparently she just used the pale skin as a base and made the rest of the shit up.

And you can tell. VAMPIRES DON'T *crag* SPARKLE, ASSHOLE!

Realy, because last time I checked, you called him "Edward the Sexy Vampire." All the time. And compared me to him.

And that was only about a month ago.

Not to mention every time you called me it was to talk about Twilight.

I read it, and I was a part of the fad for a while. It was okay for a love story, but later, when I actually thought about the book, I realized that at least 80% of it was pure stupidity.

So yeah. Most people that were part of the fad snapped out of it.

Those who don't and are still in love with a fictional character must be very lonely people. :/

Read all four of them. Enjoyed them for a little while they weren't completely blown out of proportion. And I was in middle school, so that's my excuse.

But oh god, the fourth one is filled to the brim with bullshit it's not even funny. The series pretty much ends with the moral of, "If you give up everything that you actually are, you'll get everything you've ever wanted."

She gives up her humanity, but instead of losing family and friends and her old life, everything gets all shiny and better. She's the most beautiful woman in the world. Her human dad doesn't give a shit that she's a vampire. She doesn't lose her werewolf best friend because he fell in love with her daughter. She can screw her husband without fearing that she'll break her spine. HAPPILY EVER AFTER.

Hey guys, I don't really know anything about Egyptians besides the fact that they built the pyramids and there was a dude named Anubis.

Should I write a book?

Only if at least 80% of the book is devoted to describing Anubis' flawless beauty. Forget plot, it's all about how his dark hair perfectly frames his chiseled face as his deep chestnut eyes lock onto mine.

...I mean, the main heroines'.
