A release date for water hasn't been announced yet.
Plus, the video says it's part of a new kit, which means we could be getting a lot more than just water. And I'm thinking it will most likely be free like the last creator kit. |

Exactly which features are they taking out of the old PS3? Because mine's broken and I wanna see if I should just get a PS3 Slim if I can't fix this PS3. |

All features are the same as the current phat PS3, except for:
1) You can't install Linux (but who cares, Linux ran incredibly slow on PS3).
2) You can't stand it up without buying an extra $24 stand:
Unless you have an older PS3 with PS2 backwards compatibility and/or a card reader. |

PSdoubles are pretty cheap if you get them used. Every few garages sales I go to I'll see one for only 50 bucks or so sometimes. There's also online sites where you can get PS2's pretty cheap. |
