That past few years Marvel has been a big sellout, so this doesn't surprise me. Guess this means we will get even more lame Marvel movies.

DC Comics is looking even better now.

Fix'd. Disney hasn't made anything worth watching in years.

The last good (non Pixar) Disney movie was probably Pirates of the Caribbean.

Marvel churns out a lot of crap (Spiderman, X-Men, Fantastic Four, ...), and I think Disney will just encourage it more.
I wouldn't be surprised if Disney phases out comic book production.

Alot of Marvel films are terrible (Spider-Man 3, Fantastic 4 I & II, Ghostrider).

Alot of recent live-action Disney films are terrible (Pirates of the Caribbean II and III).

It's the perfect fit!

As for the company's other media (Including the comics themselves and animated works), I see the quality of Marvel's overall output dropping. Before you get on me about how DC Comics has been owned by Time Warner for ages, remember: Time Warner is far less bossy than Walt Disney Corp.

I don't think we have to worry about Marvel becoming "Disney-fied." Keep in mind that Disney also owns Miramax, ESPN, and plenty of other things that aren't aimed at children.

This could potentially mean some awesomely-animated superhero movies, though.
