The Wii has finally been updated to Version 3.0U
This update is totally graphical changes.
Overall the Wii and Wii Shop Channel seem speedier.
Even transitioning from a channel back to the menu is quicker.
Also, sorry about the quality of the images.
They were taken with an iPhone using a standard TV.

WARNING: THIS UPDATE STOPS THE WII FROM PLAYING IMPORT GCN GAMES

Updates Not Photographed
Photo Channel
- New cat tips
- Cat is grabbed differently

News Channel
- New cat tips

Forecast Channel
- New countries

A clock has been added to the Wii menu!

Message icon pulses and makes sound when you receive a new message

The Disc Channel icon has been updated to spin around and removed the Wii logo.

The Weather Channel and News Channel now have live updating icons on the Wii menu.

Clicking on the news channel provides a larger ticker.

Photos on the Photo Channel now change.

Supposedly there are new Miis in the picture and they move their heads.

The Message board now color codes envelopes.

The Today's Play History paper has turned a nice gray color with rounded edges.

Today's Accomplishments now shows who you've sent messages to and you can hold B to scroll and you're given an internet channel-esque cursor.

There is now USB keyboard support for the Message Board and Wii Shop Channel. I'm sure we can expect it on the internet channel with a channel update. Currently only standard alpha-numeric keys work, with the exception of F4 toggling predictive text.
Can anyone confirm/deny use of bluetooth keyboards?

New graphic for sending message. (Old one was the envelope flying off)

You are now able to rearrange your friends in your address book by holding A+B

The settings now show the Wii as version 3.0U and while navigating the settings menu you are now able to use the plus and minus button.

From now on downloads will request you to read the dialogue about how you can cancel an upgrade and you have to click an "I Accept" button it also tells you that modded Wiis could be ruined by this update.

The new look of the Wii Shop Channel welcome page.

Titles you've downloaded has now been added to the screen.

Virtual Console screen adds searching functionality.

Searching gives you many options.

Search by system.

Search by publisher.

Search by genre.

Search by title.

When a disc is inserted or ejected, the blue light fades in and out.

New message light stays on even when the Wii is turned on, but turns off when you enter a channel. The light pattern has also changed slightly from a dimming effect to when the brightness is at maximum the light flashes and then continues to fade away.

If you find anything I missed let me know and I'll add it.

You can, but you'd have to bring your Wii to someone's Wifi.

No, I google'd it and the heading was always Today's Accomplishments.

Also, I added some more stuff to the list!

I'd imagine so. The US and Canada both use NTSC, so I see no reason why not.
