The StarFox series is great (Although, in recent years, the series hasn't been at its best- Buh huh huh. Command shows that it is slowly improving, however.) It would be stupid if Nintendo decided not to continue the franchise on to the Wii. The possibilities for the game are endless... And I'd like to see what happens to the plot, with Dash likely being the new villain and all.

Well, in my opinion, since there were two endings that featured Dash becoming a malevolent ruler of Venom, and that those were the endings where you fought Anglar's true form, it seems logical that it will continue off of either of those endings.
