Kooparia gasped. It did not come as a big surprise, since the last time these machines had struck, their giant sword had pierced the Dark Land castle closest to the Mushroom Kingdom's borders.
... Not sure why... It might had been chance, but then again, it was where her king had been at the time of the strike... |

"Geno was one of the heroes who defeated me the first time, and Geno is no ordinary doll. The doll was, after much research, possesed by Geno's spirit"
Smithy turned toward his creation.
He ordered shypers to attack it.
The Metal Geno obliterated them.
Smithy grinned again. |

The Medikoopa was staring out of a awkward mixture of shock and awe. She had heard that two of those who had teamed up with Bowser and Mario in the quest to defeat Smithy and his mecha-soldiers was a living doll and a puffball. This was part of what had caused her to think that it was just a tall tale.
"So... you intend to use his skill against the Mushroom Kingdom and its allies?" She purposefully left out mention of the Dark Land Koopa Kingdom. After all... she had no qualms about being part of a force against the Mario Brotehrs, but she dreaded what would happen if anyone from her kingdom learned of her forced treachery. |

Trembling still at the notion that she was responsible for the return of this terrible force - well, she had sped up their return, but still... - she almost lost her balance. |

"Th-thank you... And no..." The Medikoopa said to him in a low voice. "How would you react if you had been forced to bring back the forces of an enemy that once scattered your kingdom's forces? Oh... If they find out that I... I was forced to betray my people, my king! I... I..."
