[Gold Prognosticus]

After a few hours' walking they finally reached the sea. Seeing no boat, they decided to have a look around. It was not long before Matt saw a Pikachu, collapsed and unconscious on the shore...

[Captain Blue]

Stryker instinctively ran over to the Pikachu, and fed it a sitrus berry. "I do not know why this Pikachu is here, but it is very lucky. hmm...I wonder..." Stryker called professor oak with his pokegear. "Professor, this is Stryker. I have found a pikachu collapsed and unconscious on the shore of a beach. What action do I take?.......Understood, professor." He ended the call and reached for a pokeball.

[Super Ultimario]

Aron slowly opened his eyes. The Baltoy was standing right in front of him.

<Ah, you've woken up. I still don't know why you attacked that Charmeleon back there, but I forgive you.>

Aron looked around. It looked like he was in a nest of some sort.

<I can feel a certain......power inside of you. I can tell already that you're high-leveled, and could probably evolve if you tried. But other than that, something feels different about you, and I have some sort of feeling that that power isn't just because you're high-leveled. You're not an ordinary Pokemon, I can tell that.>

The Baltoy didn't move its mouth (did it even have a mouth?) at all when speaking. The words weren't something Aron heard, they were more like thoughts going through his mind, but he could tell they weren't his thoughts, he could tell that the Baltoy was speaking..........inside of Aron's mind.

Aron replied aloud.

<You're right, I'm not an ordinary Pokemon, I'm a human.>

There was no response. The Baltoy was clearly deep in thought.

<Okay, I get it.>, it responded. <You're a human, and you drank water labeled L.G.I. You then turned into a Pokemon. And I'm guessing you're also the trainer who owned that Skarmory. That's why you attacked the Charmeleon, you wanted to catch me.>

<H-How did you know that?!>

<It's quite simple. Humans try to catch Pokemon. A trainer tries to catch a Pokemon. The trainer is later nowhere to be found. A bottle of L.G.I. water is on the ground. A Pokemon comes over and helps out the trainer in trying to catch another one, and there was no flash of a Pokeball opening. It's rather easy to connect the dots.>

<You should be able to turn back into a trainer. Try it.>

Aron tried to shift. He tried hard, and he felt like he almost did it, but he was still an Aron.

<I see. That's alright, you got close. Try it tomorrow. If you can't turn back, keep trying. Otherwise, you'll be stuck as a Pokemon forever. I would know.>

<You mean......>

<Of course. I'm also a Shifter.>

Aron looked around more. He was so busy talking to Baltoy he hadn't noticed that his Skarmory was nearby, in the nest. It was about 4 times larger than Aron currently was. Aron didn't feel too comfortable about that, he'd been used to Skarmory being a bit larger than him, but not four times larger. The Skarmory was too busy rearranging part of the nest to notice the conversation between Baltoy and Aron. Aron's bag was also on the floor of the nest, and was opened. A Pokeball was on the floor, it looked like the one that contained Noctowl.

[Myst]

Ooc: Whoa, this got active. And Matt, no one knows where LGI is. It probably won't be revealed for a while.

Stryker grabbed a pokeball and threw it at the Pikachu.

[Myst]

Myst came to his senses. He was being carried by a bunch of pokemon. Among them, a trainer. "Ok, can someone tell me what's going on? Myst questioned, confused.

[Gold Prognosticus]

[Myst]

"Well, I really don't have anything better to do..." Myst said. "But it's not gonna be easy, you know that, right?"

[Greenlight]

Immediately waking up, Greenlight noticed the oncoming pokeball, but was too weak to deflect it. Though, as the pokeball hit him, nothing happened. He was not sucked into the red and white orb. He just sat there, with his eyes open staring at the trainer.

[Captain Blue]

"No effect? This Pikachu must belong to someone...or could be like you, Mr Charmeleon. Now that I think about it, I never got your name. As for you, Pikachu, since you can't go into a pokeball, I'll have to carry you to the nearest pokemon center. I can't just leave an injured pokemon behind."

[Greenlight]

Still very weak, the Pikachu could barely, if not at all, any movement at all. Very much wanting to run off, Greenlight could not alter what was about to happen, so he just sat patiently as the trainer picked him up.

[Captain Blue]

Stryker picked up the Pikachu gently. He then realized how much fear was in the Pikachu. He put it down. "You do not wish to be healed?"

[Greenlight]

The pikachu still just stared at the human with an angry stare, much because of his past. I never thought I'd have to get help from a human. I guess there's not much of a choice..... He looked at the trainer again, this time with a bit of a lighter look, as if it wanted to be picked up and taken to the P.C.

[Captain Blue]

"You are giving me mixed signals. Perhaps it is an issue of trust? Regardless, I suppose you have chosen to be healed." Looking at the map in his pokegear, he found a pokemon center at Clisa Beach. "To the northeast, half a mile. I'll take you there, heal you, then set you free." Picking up the pikachu once again, he and his pokemon ran along to beach towards the city. "I'll be back, charmeleon!"

[Gold Prognosticus]

ooc: I've decided Matt will shift between pokemon to suit the situation, but will only revert to a human near the end.

Matt thought aloud, [Well, while we're waiting for them, we might as well try to find some transport across the sea. I reckon you could fly across if you tried, and Stryker could take a boat. But the captains of those ships don't like strays and I sure can't swim.]

Matt walked up to the edge of the sea, and sat down. He spotted some Gyarados in the distance. Suddenly a pain shot straight through his body, and he fell into the sea.

Matt felt the familiar shifting sensation but just managed to stay conscious this time. When he opened his eyes, he felt, well, different.

After looking at himself for a moment he discovered that he had turned into a Gyarados. It pleased him that he now had a way across, although he had become accustomed to his charmeleon body.

Looking back at the surface he saw Stryker returning...
