Still watching the two 'pokemon' Greenlight wondered how he could follow them. Coming up with no plan to fly, he ran quickly catching up with the two, beneath them.
ooc: I'm working on a big storyline as the game goes on, everything will fit into place...
[Okay, It'll be nice to have some company for once] Matt said, as they flew across the forest. [You know, this is where I grew up. I could probably name every tree in this forest. And over there is my-] he stopped mid-sentence as he saw a pillar of smoke rising from a clearing. [NO!] Matt turned off and sped towards the smoke.
Soda Town was in ruins. Every house had been destroyed. Matt landed in the forest nearby and reverted to his Charmeleon form. As he walked in he wondered in horror about what happened. He felt helpless, as he was unable to do anything.
He saw a girl walk by just up ahead. He recognised it as Jenny. Jenny always liked to talk to pokemon. He could talk to her.
[What happened?] Said Matt as he walked up to Jenny.
"Team Rocket came," said Jenny, slightly suprised at hearing a pokemon speak. "They were looking for someone ... a friend of mine."
[Who?] asked Matt.
"I think ... it was a person called Matt." Matt froze in horror. Why was team rocket looking for him? [Where did they go?] Matt asked. "They went north, towards the dock. I think they're leaving for Silk Isle."
[Thank you.] said Matt, and he shot away to inform his friends. LGI could wait, this was personal...

Ooc: Last change of mind. Myst will not be able to turn human, but he can still talk human. (As probably every shifter should be able to.)
"Oh man, this is terrible. You going to get revenge, Matt?"
"Yup." Matt replied.
"You know, weird stuff happened to me becoming a shifter. See, it was pouring outside, which is NOT natural in the desert I live in, and then thunder struck, and the power went out. Then I was in this weird place, that almost looked interdimensional. Then I was spoken to by someone I couldn't see. I was told that the world was at a state of imbalance, and I would join a resistance group, but only after the imbalance spread to me. At first I thought the imbalance was LGI after I turned into a flygon, but now I see its much more than that..."
After chasing Team Rocket, the group finally found the port. Several ships were being loaded by team rocket. [As much as i would like to see them burn, we can't attack just yet. If I'm right, we need to get on one of those ships and head where they're going.] Within moments they had stowed away in a crate, and shortly after the boat started moving with a lurch. Matt thought to himself, they can't get away with this...
"...I'm tired of tricking people." "You know there is no other way." "There is another way. Stop." "You know as well as I that is impossible." "Nothing is ever impossible to you..." "I'm tired of your trying to stop me! Leave immediately!" "..."
ooc: Sure. That music in your last post made me feel really sad.
Chapter 3 - Team Rocket
As the group escaped the boat and hid nearby, Matt seemed quieter than before. Whenever any of them asked him about it, he ignored them. Pressing their concerns aside, the group looked up at the towering building at the edge of silk isle...
[We need a way to get in.] said Matt. It the first thing he had said since they reached the base, and it broke the silence of the group. [Any ideas?]
Ooc: The music Is "Roxas" From Kingdom hearts 2. The other promise is the battle version of it, and it's beautiful.
"Normally I'd say we just storm in, but we all know that's not gonna work. We need someone stealthy. Something that can get in and find out what we should do." Myst said.
Ooc: Being a leader is one of the many things Myst excels at. Maybe he should be the leader of the shifters for the time being?
Stryker thought for a moment, then whispered his plan. "I have an idea. I have Ivan start a commotion and distract the rockets at the entrance by having him go nutso. Meanwhile, the flygon can be an eye in the sky, and I can take grigori and matt with me inside. Tikhon can back up Ivan and the Flygon whose name I've yet to hear, and the Pikachu, whose name I've also haven't heard yet, can go with me."
"Why not? Humans aren't all bad! Although I'm starting to doubt that..." Myst said, with his memories of LGI an team rocket recurring. "So, let's get this over with, right?"
As the group worked their way into the base, Matt said, [If I know these people, then their boss is on the top floor.]
"How do you know all this?" asked Sryker.
[...team rocket has pillaged my home before. Usually they would just take a few things and leave, but now they've gone way too far.]
The group slowly but surely made their way up to the top floor, stopping just outside the main room. [Is everyone ready?] asked Matt. [Okay, NOW!]
The group burst into the room in a shower of confusion. Matt shot a flamethrower at the ceiling, destroying the lights. When the backup kicked in, every rocket in the room had been knocked out and the executive was surrounded.
[Why did you attack Soda Town?] yelled Matt, almost unable to contain his fury.
"I ... I was just following orders!"
[Who told you to do it?]
"Ung ... ARGH! Please don't hurt me! It was our boss, Giovanni."
[Where is he?] said Matt, slightly calmer now.
"He's at our base at plantlac isle..."
[And what is he doing there?]
"Some kind of experiment with water. I think it was called LGI."
Matt froze. So team rocket was behind LGI, too...
"...fools." said the executive meekly, and hit a button on his desk.
"SELF DESTRUCT ENGAGED. EVACUATE IMMEDIATELY."
[We need to get out of here now!] said Matt, his voice barely audible above the alarms...
"Wait! I need a sec, Matt! I need to hack the computer for exact info!" Stryker ran to a computer and began inputting commands to find the information on LGI's exact location. As he hacked the commands, the self-destruct timer continued to dwindle. As the counter reached 60 seconds, he finally finished and pulled out a CD. "I've got the info! Grigori, Powder snow the floor!" Grigori quickly iced the floor, and the two slid along it to escape the soon-to-be exploding building.
