[Paper Luigi]

Peach fell to her knees in front of her fallen castle. It meant everything to her. And now it was just... gone.

[The Quiet.]

The grunts were being beat back by Bowser and the koopas, but the Fel Soldiers advanced as well as the wisps. One wisp went straight into a Koopa and the koopas eyes turned entirely blue. The koopa turned around and shot itself at another koopa. The wisp floated out right before the koopas had a colision. Both died.

Undead trolls smashed at the walls outside the castle, and had beaten openings into almost all of the walls. Undead swarmed into the entire building, spreading corruption everywhere. Greenish grey mushrooms began to grow rapidly on the wall, puffing out light brown gas.

The grounds outside the castle shook as the earth about half a mile away from the gates split open, crumbled and collapsed upon itself. A giant portal began to rise from the grassless floor, Ancient runes carved all over it. Wisps started to fly towards the runes, making them glow bright blue.

Suddenly the portal opened. A extrodinarily large beast stepped out, its flesh white and unhealthy, rotting. It had four arms, each holding a different, large weapon. One, a cleaver, One, an axe, Another, a mace, And the last, a huge dagger, easily a two hand sword for any human. His eyes rolled around individualy, bloodshot, taking everything in. But something was familiar about the giant Abomination...

"Oy! It's time for a chunkin'!"

"Hey, wait!", Bowser yelled. "I know that voice! O'Chunks? Come out here, you're in for it now!"

[The Quiet.]

"Graaa!! Me no O'Chunks! Me Slasher!"

And with that, O'Chunks lept to the castle in a single bound and wiped out and entire section of the wall in one swipe of his mace. Undead, and now, Netherguards- A mix between Wraiths and Fel Soldiers, weilding a huge axe- lept into the wall, sweeping the halls toward the throne room.

In the front hall, the Shadow Legion had wiped out Bowser's forces and had set up a small HQ where commander shades could operate their troops. Shade commanders were shadows in body armor crafted with Wyrmian ore, the strongest dark material in the Dark Realms, and extremely powerful minds. They could keep track of all their soldiers, and in this case, they had almost 7000 each.

The main battle had been taken deeper into the castle, almost in the smack middle of the castle. Part of the high ceiling had been smashed in by a troll on the roof. By now, the undead had been taken all of the outer rooms and were holding them sucessfuly, with O'Chunks help. He was patroling the outer walls and was destroying all of Bowser's minions that tried to escape. One of the dead by O'Chunks hands was an old, woman koopa, her body sliced clean in half.

"You've just messed with the wrong koopa, buddy!", Bowser yelled, stomping hs feet. He breathed fire left and right, not caring if he hit his own minions or the Shadow Legion's, and finally directed his flame at the new and improved O'Chunks.

Dimentio apeared in front of the door which led to the Chaos Heart. He tried yanking on the door with all his might, blasting it with magic, yet nothing worked. On the outside of the door were eight heart-shaped engravements. Ah ha ha...,thought Dimentio. I'm going to have to gather the eight pure heats to get the Chaos Heart. Rich. He disapeared in a flash.

((Umm... I dont want to sound lke a jerk, but there are 8 pure hearts ))

[The Quiet.]

Bowser, with his flame breath, had burnt most of the undead grunts. But, even though they were on fire, they continued to run around until the fire upon them had burnt kneecaps and such parts vital to moving. The spirit creatures, wisps, wraiths, and Netherguards, were not affected by the fire. The fel soldiers had it worst. They burned, and burned, and burned, because the substance that they and their armor were made of, fel iron, was highly flamible. They kept attacking, however, until they were cooked to a crisp.

O'Chunks had smashed enough walls outside of the castle at this point that the outer rooms were becoming padios. Nothing dared attack him. The only thing accomplished by attacking the undead irishman was getting yourself killed, and maybe ripping off a bit of flesh. But O'Chunks didn't feel it. Was he not dead?

...

A day after the battle had been started, there was a big FLASH from the Shadow Legions portal. Followed by a BANG and a pretty light show. The portal turned dark, dark green, and a figure in robes stepped out...he had something in mind for this castle of koopas....

Shade lifted one hand and the robes slid back a little, revealing a long, bony, pitch black finger. A dark purple glow emminated from the tip of this finger, and small black orbs of energy whirled around it like moons. This glow soon was an orb as well, as big as a human's head, with the orbs circling it the size of bowling balls. The orb was soon so enormous that it took the shadow lord two hands the hold it. The ground turned gray around Shade. the castle shook. bits of it that were loose by O'Chunk's rampage flew off in the tremor.

Once the orb was larger than a school bus, Shade plunged it into the ground. It shook and rumbled and tantrumed. Suddenly the gray under the shadow lord shot out in all different directions, corrupting the ground and the skys above it. A stray koopa was caught in the gray and collapsed to the ground, not breathing. Almost instantly he became another of the Shadow Legion.

The plauge raced for Bowser's castle.
