Maria had finally reached Hearthome City. Her Shinx had been attacked by a
Wooper while she wasn't looking. She quickly ran to the Pokemon Center to have it be treated. While her Shinx was being nursed to health, she was looking at the television reporting about Snowpoint City and the strange sky.

-Forest near Snowpoint-

A burst of cold air roused Ally from her sleep. She shrugged into her coat and saw her Lotad next to her, taking a rest as well. She got it back into its Pokeball, and she started to walk in any direction, though the direction she chose led her back into town, but no one had begun to look for her yet.

Once in the town, she saw two people and a Pokemon staring up at the sky.

"What are you bozos looking at?" she asked.

[Fancy Wario]

Jonathan still stared. "Is there some kind of eye disease going around?" he wondered. "The sky is perfectly normal. It's always gray in Snowpoint."

[Pure-???]

"can't you tell? this sky is definately a bad omen." he calls his pokemon back. "no point in staring for no reason I guess."

[Fancy Wario]

Jonathan shrugged. "Uh...well, whatever. I guess if so many people think there's something wrong, there must be something wrong...I still don't see anything strange about the sky, though."

[Pure-???]

"you want to battle? we're all ready out here anyway."

Jon shook his head. "No thanks," he said. "I'm not really a trainer."

"alright then. But why do you have a pokemon then? just for a companion?"

".......there have been reports of a very select few residents not being able to see anything wrong with the sky. No one knows what this could mean...." the reporter had announced over the T.V.

"Strange colored sky? I think I read something about that before.......oh wait, it was a fiction book." Maria quietly said to herself.

"Shi!" Her Shinx called out.

Maria returned her Shinx to its pokeball and explored the town.

Jon nodded. "Pretty much, yeah. I'm not really the traveling type, but I do enjoy the company of Pokemon."

OOC: Yeah. It's located at the far north of the region, near Lake Acuity, and beyond Mt. Coronet.

BIC:

Jon shrugged. "Yeah. Well, anyway, I've gotta do some stuff. Later," he said, and walked off in the direction of the Snowpoint Temple. Now that the blizzard had blown over, he should be fine. Crash walked alongside him, on occasion shooting worried glances at the sky.

"I've got nothing better to do. I'll go with you." he follows him to the temple.

%Ilex Forest%

It was just another day for most people in the Ilex forest. It was about noon, the sun high in the sky. Most pokemon were up and about. However, if you looked deeper into the forest...

"Well...I guess today's the day" A determined Ruki said to her Pokemon and friend, Ruxik. "I wonder how the world has changed."

"Rio, Rioruri" Ruxik replied in a tone that tried to sound at least somewhat conferting.

"I guess we better get started" Ruki said, getting up from the tree stump she had been sitting on bit a few seconds ago. "Do you want to walk or just go in the Pokeball" Ruki asked, setting the ball down. Ruxik was fickle, sometimes he just wouldn't want to go in his ball.

"Rio." The small Rioru simply replied, slowly walking away, obviously not choosing the ball.

"Alright, no ball it is" I say, grabbing the pokeball from the ground. After a fair amount of walking, we come to our destination. The gate to out of Ilex Forest and into Route 34.
