Fox smirked. The ape seemed no match for himself, let alone the black hedgehog. As he continued to watch the melee, he noticed a large timer by the front of the audience, though it was not ticking. Fox readied himself to disarm the mysterious device when he received another call from Peppy.
"Relax, Fox, it's only a timer. Some of these matches are kept under a time limit. However, it seems this match is stock-based."
"Interesting..." Fox proclaimed. "I'll take note of this world's oddities, such as this timer." |

Fawful couldn't help being distracted from his game-modification by the voice speaking nearby. He glanced towards the speaker- and did a double-take. A bipedal, sentient, humanoid fox?
...He'd seen stranger things, though. He shrugged and went back to his game. |

OUCH! That spear pierced straight through DK's chest, leaving a nice burn mark (it's just energy, so it's not going to stab.) DK screamed in pain, his saliva spewing everywhere. Just a droplet entered Shadow's eye as the still-falling DK entered point blank range.
OOC: Why does everyone dis DK now? |

We're not dissing, it's just at this point there's a significant hit-ratio between Shadow and Donkey Kong. Maybe Shadow needs to tone it down so it's at least a little bit more realistic. |

Shadow watched as DK flailed around, until he felt a sharp pain in his eye. Shadow put his hands over his eyes as the pain stinged him. He started shooting Chaos Spears in all directions in the confusion. |

DK laughed in his excitement. With one swift blow, he knocked Shadow on the side of the head, knocking him far, far away. However, it was not long before he was struck by another Chaos Spear, hindering his performance once again. |
