Ganondorf began to tire of waiting, but watching the small green child fight the metal warrior would prove amusing at the very least. Suddenly, in his hands appeared a small box. As he opened the box he sat down on a elegant wooden chair that he materialized out of thin air.

Apparently, he decided to eat a couple Gerudian cactus-candies while he watched the fight.


((Hehe... Not sure what Gerudos eat, but since they live in the desert, it would come as little surprise to me that they would make some sort of snack out of cactus juice. Or those cactus-pears / fruits that sometimes grow on top of cacti.))

Seeing how the bounty hunter was hesitating (but keeping his Headgear trained on her just in case), Fawful took advantage of the opportunity to turn to the desert king. He raised his eyebrows slightly when he noticed a chair had appeared for him seemingly from nowhere, but quickly fought the surprise off of his face.
"Who are YOU being?" he demanded, folding his arms.

Meanwhile, Kirby sharpened his sword, then paused.

"...Why do I even have this? It only existed for like, one episode in my anime..."

Kirby then got bishslapped by Mona for breaking the 4th Wall.

"DONKEY HERE! He just went to produce market while arena paused." DK admitted. Sonic had come up with a rather ingenius system: anyone could leave their battle at any time and do stuff. However, once they got back in, their damage was resustained, and the gameplay would resume from the moment they left. DK looked at his paused image and cringed. He was hurtling right into the front of the Falcon Flier, which would be extremely painful. He simply shrugged, waiting for Shadow to unleash his attack before jumping back in on the pain.

Ganondorf looked down at Fawful. After finishing the piece of cactus-candy he had in his mouth, he spoke.

"I am Ganondorf Dragmire, the King of Evil." he stated. "Former king of the Desert tribe of Gerudos, but I abdicated that position when I took my place as ruler of all of Hyrule."

He laughed. His laughter was soft, more of a dark chuckle then anything...

"Seven years I ruled over Hyrule... Seven Years of Darkness."

Fawful bristled slightly. King of Evil? How DARE he! That was Fawful's future position, in Cackletta's name!
That's when he caught something...off about the Gerudo's statement. He smirked.
"RulED? As in, the tense of pastness?"

(Fawful's a jealous lil' cutie. xD )

Ganondorf nodded as a small frown grew on his face.

"I was slain in battle. Twice. But it matters not. I will take my place once more as ruler of Hyrule, once I reap my revenge on the one who slayed me."

He, surprisingly, was not as angry as he should be. A century to stew over his death had dulled his anger for a time. No, Ganondorf was looking back at this as a learning experience. When he had been bested, he was far too confident. His hubris had been humongous, and he had underestimated his opponent.

This needed to be rectified.


((Since Hyrule is perpetually in a Medieval-like setting, I keep thinking of the characters using more archaic terms and phrases.))

Fawful had to struggle from reeling over in shock. Killed- twice?! But how was he here? What kind of magic- Not even the Great Cackletta-
His heart sank into his stomach and then twisted, conflicted.
He masked it with a teasing smirk, using his Headgear to float up and make a face at the Gerudo king.
"Ru. It seems as though it is having the meaning of the one who is you to me. Furururu!"

Ganondorf attempted to make sense of the bizarre manner of speech. Truth be told, he had been killed more than twice (the first two times were right at the end of his seven year reign), but he did not wish to reveal that tidbit of information.

From what he could tell, it seemed as though the child said that his defeat, though it mattered little to himself, it meant a lot to the small brat.

Hmm...

"One such as you should not even dare to insult me, you who rely on devices instead of magic or proper weaponry to be aloft, or even to do combat." Ganondorf responded.


((Would had said 'machinery', but when was the last time you ever saw anything more hi-tech than a windmill or crossbow in a Zelda game?))
