DK was getting quite bored. The "pause" feature that had been placed on the arena so that everyone could get snacks ((lol)) was still in effect, and it had been quite some time. The ape lusted for what would happen after the puffball's meteor impact. He desired to see that pink ball winning high, flailing in the...er...alright, so DK stopped himself before any other distrubing thoughts could be made. He just continued to stomp around, taking a seat next to Bowser.
"Hot Dog?" he asked the Koopa King, holding up a perfect, well-grilled slab of pork between two pillowy buns. |

"Woo HOO! Donkey Time!" DK screamed, erupting from the stands and leaving his precious hot dog behind. However, suddenly, a Kremling shoved him into a barrel to make his intro more "SSB-esque", as they said, even though DK was pretty sure they were pushing him off a cliff (but failing miserably). Kong watched as Shadow appeared in a very pretty flash of light we all know as Chaos Control.
"Pretty lights...but lights not help you in race! Well, I guess lights do help, but DONKEY STILL WIN!" the mentally-confused monkey screamed. Suddenly, a barrel materialized next to DK and his prolonged intro. Being ultra-impatient, DK simply tossed the barrel at Shadow in classic, retro-gaming style.
