Cackletta merely threw back her head and laughed. All traces of her spirit form had dissolved now, except for a faint smoky aura, and even that was fading. "Eeyah ha ha!"

Kammy ground up most of the items up into a fine powder, with which she drew the magical circle in its entireity, not missing a single stroke.

"There we go. All that's left is the incantation."

Fawful took a deep breath, then handed Kammy her wand.
"Here you are going."

The chamber shook again, and more violently than ever before. Cackletta had risen from her throne and was still laughing wickedly, and although Jaydes glared at her, she could do little more...

Kammy then recited an old spell of resurrection. It was the only one she could think of at the moment, but it would do.

"Recursus remigro reventum. Vivo spiro animo." she chanted for several minutes before saying...

"Calo phasma!"

And with that, there was a puff of amynethist smoke. The magical circle glowed then vanished.

It its place stood a very familiar person.

It was a very odd feeling, coming back from the dead.
All of her senses, which had been formerly gone, rushed back to her at once. Sight- clouds of amethyst smoke swirled around her. Hearing- Fawful's gasp of shock nearby. Scent- magic, heavy in the air. Touch- her clawlike fingers curling, her limbs stretching...
Taste- evil. And revenge. Encroaching upon the world as she unfurled from the smoke...
Cackletta was reborn.
"EEEYAH HA HA HA HA!"

Kammy winced as Cackletta's shrill laugh cut through the air. That was one irritiating chuckle...

She could not help but rub her temples.

It was all Fawful could do not to keel over in shock and pure bliss. He felt tears starting up in his widening eyes, but hurriedly blinked them back and shakily approached.
"O-O...O Great Cackletta?"

Cackletta swept forward from the cloud of smoke. Grinning down at her apprentice, she spoke.
"You have done well, Fawful."

Cackletta patted Fawful on the head. Her henchman grinned and giggled in delight, his eyes sparkling.
The Beanbean witch turned to Kammy, frowning slightly. "Hmm? Who are you?"

"Ah, yes. On that note, then..."
She snapped her clawlike fingers. With a loud CRACK, a bolt of purplish lightning fell from out of nowhere.

Kammy was startled, but having served Bowser for many long years, she had been accustomed to sudden bursts of fire when he became irate.

The old Magikoopa, due to this, had out of habit manifested a magical shield which absorbed the attack.

Obviously, Kammy was perplexed as to why she had been attacked.

The little Beanish turned and grinned at the Magikoopa. "I said I would have the rewarding of you for your assistance, yes? Well...Be glad to have the knowledge that your kingdom is NOT having the destruction after all!"

Cackletta raised an eyebrow curiously. Fawful tugged her sleeve again, and she knelt down, her apprentice whispering something in her ear.
The Beanish witch gasped- and then burst into peels of laughter.
"Eeeyah ha ha ha ha! Oh, Fawful, that is RICH!"
Blinking tears out of her slit-pupiled eyes, the witch turned back to Kammy, her laughter only increasing as the Koopa's eye began to twitch. "I suppose I owe you a reward for helping us then, huh? Very well, then...Which would you prefer- a slow and painful death, or quick and...relatively painless? Eeyah ha ha!"
