There is much more evidence that global warming is happening then evidence that shows that it's not. Different studies have shown that a greener economy is a cheaper one in the long run. Scientists are not even allowed to mention global warming or the Kyoto Protocol!
Right now, the US is still completely dependent on foreign oil. The National Reserve has only been used once. All Bush wants to do is deplete the Middle East's oil, bomb it once it's dry, and make the US the top oil seller. There should be more done to get the US off track on its oil dependence. Finding better, and cleaner, fuels will not only help the world in the global warming crisis, but make fuels a hell of a lot cheaper. |

The Arctic is melting, making the sea levels higher. Less ice in the arctic and Antarctic mean that those areas are diminishing. Also, th erising temperature of the ocean is one of the causes of the rising power of hurricanes and other natural disasters.
It's a slow, but deadly process, like arsenic. |

Pollution is the primary cause of global warming. The carbon dioxide released from cars, house, factories, etc. is building up in the air. The heat of the sun is absorbed by the earth, and usually it would just go back out into space. Instead, all this built up carbon dioxide is keeping the heat it, making earth hotter. Add the hole in the Ozone layer letting more heat in, and you've got yourself a planetary oven.
Reducing pollution can stop, or even reverse, global warming if enough is gone. There are already several countries that have been able to use fuel sources alternate to oil that produce less or no carbon dioxide. If the US could use the same fuels well, having the reputation of a model nation could influence other countries to do the same.
By the way, my parents have a Prius. |

I believe global warming exists, but it's being overhyped. It's not some sort of apocalyptic world-ending process so many think it is, and I think Gore is hyping it because it's a popular subject and it gets his name back into politics.
Most people on either side of the debate seem to be far too one-sided, there's hardly any middle ground people. We need to fix that, a middle ground position is the best one can take for such things we cannot truly deal with, when both sides have masses of lies and masses of half-truths. |

1. Stop using cars
2. get out of your house, (AND DONT EVEN THINK ABOUT USING A CARDBOARD BOX! hurting the enviroment! hehe)
3. Get off your computer
4. Dont travel in planes
5. dont eat nor drink
