E. Gadd had immediately recognized the voice of whoever had his mouth covered- the mischievous little Koopa who had nabbed his failed pollution-cleaning brush and used it to trash Isle Delfino! But why had he come back?

"Meh, who cares," Jr. said dismissively, before going back to the matter at hand (or rather, claw).
"Hi again, old man Gadd," he snickered. "Ya miss me? Meet my bro, Morton. I've told him a lot of good things about you."
He giggled wickedly.

He quickly turned his attention to E. Gadd.

"Hi there! I'm Morton!" he began before launching into a long monologue about how cool the paintbrush was, how Mario had been locked up because of it, and (after twenty minutes of what he said before) that he wanted something neat like that too.

Larry stumbled over to a green bag with Gadd's production stamp on it, and made a very sinister cackle.

"Jackpot. I just can't wait to go to PipeLand!"

Gadd blinked, not having followed a single bit of the other intruder's fast speech...Except for the end. ANOTHER paintbrush, in the hands of these troublemakers?
He thrashed and gave a muffled retort through Jr.'s hand. The message was clear: no deal.

Jr. glared, then turned to his brother with a cross between a pout and a wicked grin. "Aw, Morton, old man Gadd won't let us have any fun with his stuff...Think we should have some fun with him instead?"

Morton grinned as well. "Yeah! Oooooh... What should we play first? So many choices..."

The Koopaling laughed when he noticed the look on Gadd's face. He looked scared! Or maybe just enraged... Perhaps a mixture of the two?

Laughing alongside his brother, Jr. hauled the scientist to his feet and started to drag him down the stairs. Gadd struggled and tried to call out for help, but the elderly scientist was no match for the two wicked little Koopalings.

Morton found a long cord - probably for use in machinery - and used it to tie up Gadd until they... convinced him to make another paintbrush.

Jr. gave his brother a thumbs-up, then began to prowl around the lab. "Hmm...There's gotta be somethin' good to use here..."

Although he was tied up, his mouth had been uncovered- but just before Gadd could call out for help, the little Koopaling stuffed a wad of cloth in his mouth.

Morton chuckled while rolling his eyes. He then found a drill, a bunch of bolts and screws, a lot of wires, a torch, a wrench, and a bunch of scrap metal.

He got an idea.

Morton got to work, constructing what slowly took on the form of a crude robot. Kind of resembled a Mecha-Koopa; the small Koopa-like wind-up toys.

Jr. rooted through Gadd's things, but so far, it looked like he had nothing but bits and pieces of inventions. Just useless junk- which meant no torturing, and subsequently, no paintbrush for Morton.
Speaking of Morton...
He glanced over at his brother. "Morton, what are you doing?"

"Making something that he can... Hehe... play with." Morton answered as he finished the item's construction.

It was not long before he programmed it and, after it was complete, Morton set it down about five feet away from E. Gadd.

Gadd, however, wasn't so happy. He gulped uncertainly and drew back, although the wire Morton had tied around him prevented him from getting away. All he could do was watch the little contraption and hope it didn't do anything too nasty...

"Heh. Say hello to my little friend." Morton said as he activated the tiny machine.

For something made quickly, and by someone who most people deem an idiot, the tiny robot was functioning rather well. Its eyes focused on E. Gadd and it began to slowly walk over to him.
