Jr. snickered, having gone back to painting- although this time, on paper, and keeping an eye out for any goop monsters. "Larry's in trou-ble~," he singsonged with mischievous glee.

Morton was watching Junior. He kept making comments and suggestions as to holding the oversized brush, perhaps shrinking it down so that it was easier to draw with, and the talkative Koopa occasionally asked if he could try it out.

It was, after all, a neat toy.

As much as Jr. was thankful that Morton had prevented him from being beaned square in the face, he certainly wasn't going to fork over his favorite toy that easily.
"No way!" he said, clinging to it. "Can't you just, like, get your own or something?"

Morton pouted a little. He wanted to play with the cool magic goop-spewing paintbrush. But what his little brother said had made him wonder...

"Do you think that guy has more of these things? Do you know where he is? What if he has a bunch of security set up? How did you get that in the first place? Why did he make a goop-making paintbrush? Did he give it to you or did you take it?"

"Of course I took it," Jr. snickered. "What other way is there to get cool stuff? And he didn't wannit, anyway. He was tryin' to make some kind of paintbrush that would clear up the sluge, but it backfired on 'im. I did him a favor."
He snickered again. "We could go...'ask' him to make another one, if you want."

Morton Koopa Junior looked really excited at the suggestion of forcing the old scientist to make him a magical paintbrush. Although he was older than Junior, he was still a kid. And children, no matter whether they're human or koopa, nice or mean, love getting new toys.

Morton was too distracted by his excitement over a new toy to worry about what might had happened to his game.

"Can we go now, Junior? I just can't wait! This is almost as great and bad as when I was in my castle during that time Dad let the others and I play with the magical scepters that he stole and then we got to wait for Mario and that green guy to come so we could try to beat him up! It was great - except for the pain... that sucked."

"We... can... take the Koopa Copter!" Morton suggested. "Its big enough for both of us. Dad taught me how to pilot it. And it goes really far really fast! We'd be there in no time at all! By the time we get back, Dad won't even know we were gone."

Jr. scratched his head. "Er...How long is 'no time'?" he asked- partially to know how big a chance they stood of getting caught, but moreso to know how long he'd have to put up with Morton's chattering. ...Did the Koopa Copter have a radio?

Jr. struggled to keep from keeling over. Two hours with Morton?! Even Kamek would lose his mind!
"Uh...Does the Copter have a radio?" he asked. "You know, so we could listen to music an' stuff." And so he could drown Morton's jabbering out with some music...
