Morton ran out of the room cheering. He ran straight from the hideout to the docking tower and hopped into the Koopa Copter. In the span of one minute, which would had taken twenty at a jog.

Jr. was right beside his brother all the way. He clambered into the Koopa Copter alongside him and cheered- but then paused.
"Uh...Which way is Beanbean from here?"

Surprisingly, Morton (or as he was occasionally called, 'Moron') knew his geography. He had a mental compass and was able to navigate anywhere if he knew the basic layout.

"Its that way." he said as he pointed. "Bean Bean Kingdom is to the north-west, across the ocean. Since Dad had the Copter upgraded, it can make the travel as quickly as the Cruiser!"

As they went to take off, he snickered to Morton, "Hey, let's hope we don't get shot down by any crazy ten-year-olds or turned into girls while we're there."

Morton laughed. "Heh... Dad had a really bad time that week... And you forgot 'get amnesia, then get bossed around by a two-bit petty theif, get beat up by Mario and that green guy twice, and when we get our memories back, we get possessed'! And 'get blown up, get caught in a crumbling sky-castle, get stuffed in a box, then dropped from the sky'!"

He laughed again. "Poor Dad... That was one bad week... Hehehe."

"At least we're not hearing something about someone hiding her bow." the older Koopaling pointed out. "If it was that, not only would we be deaf, but even people all the way in Beanbean would hear her!"

"But I wonder why Kammy didn't go with Dad... I mean, while Kamek was away, she was supposed to be Dad's right-hand Magikoopa and his top adviser. Sure, he had been originally gone to abduct Peach, but he called back and told us that he would be running a little late due to an unexpected explosive turn of events."

Morton grinned as he started up the Koopa Copter. "I'm not mad. I mean, we all have taken her bow once or twice. The only downside about doing it is her very loud reaction. The last time her bow was taken, her screams made me deaf for about three days."
