Your logic is flawed by one simple fact.
I like them, therefor not everyone can dislike them as I like them and am alive. |

Time travel is only possible forwards, not backwards. |

No, you can't. The simple fact remains that you can't change what happened. If you bring yourself back in time, you bring back yourself, who shouldn't exist. I don't know what that means, but it can't be good. |

Did we hit 88 MPH yet?
Time is infinite. Still, you must spend your time wisely.
Time paradoxes = very bad |

Going back in time is fine, as long as you don't try to change something. Because when you do, that opens a time paradox, which totally destroys the fabric of time and space. |

So in other words, if you were to go back to world war 2 and just watch it without being seen, it's okay. However, if you do like they did in robot chicken, it would be bad, right? |

Yeah. Stopping Hitler from doing what he did would result in having no WWII, and that would cut out millions of important bits and pieces of today.
Also, building a Time Machine to go back in time to save someone is flawed:
If you do build it and go back and save them, you would have never needed to build it in the first place, so you wouldn't have been there to save him, so he would have died, causing you to make the Time Machine to save him.
Paradox. |

I think going back in time already changes it. You weren't there. Now you are. You have added your matter to a universe without your matter in it. Pouring more water into a full cup, so to speak. |
