I was on my way to a friends house. In fact, we were just pulling in to his driveway, and they were on the driveway, waving at us. So, we waved back. Of course, we weren't paying attention to the car coming at us at, say, 60 KM/h. The guy drove right into the side of our car, and we went spinning into the ditch on the other side of the road. I got out instantly, and staggered over to my friend's driveway. I was being a complete idiot, and was in the front seat (despite being 11 at the time), so my cheek got banged up really badly, and it was swollen for the next... week or 2. I never sat in the front seat again until I was 13.

I've seen a lot of accidents after they happened, but I've never actually seen the cars collide. And the closest I've been to being in an accident was when I almost got hit while on my bike.

I was crossing on a green light, and a car came out of nowhere at high speed and turned without looking. I'm glad I didn't get off to walk my bike, because if I had, I would have gotten hit right on. I swerved out of the way on my bike, though. Cool
