"Okay then," said Luigi, stepping forward. "This shouldn't be too hard..." He jumped up, landing on a floating platform above. There was a whole series of them, rising up randomly along the tree's side in a constant upward climb.

[Paper Luigi]

"Ugh.", Speedster moaned, looking at all the platforms. He jumped up on the platform Luigi was on, then did a backflip and landed on another one. The platform he was on rotated around in a circle, so it was hard to stay on...

[Crappy Blue Luigi]

Brian took the easy way out and transmorphized into a Paratroopa. Although he felt a bit sad going past Luigi and Speedster. When he passed the last platform, he sat down and started playing Nintendogs. "Roll over!"

[Yellow Magikoopa]

Max ran and got a good dash, then started rapidly flapping his tail, making him fly.

Luigi huffed and puffed as he continued to climb up the enormously tall tree. He almost slipped quite a few times, especially on the moving platforms... but then his Super Mario training started to kick in. Remembering all of those old adventures, Luigi hopped and jumped rapidly with prodigious skill. He was now almost halfway up the tree.

"Hoo! Just like old times, eh?"

Speedster jumped and caught up to Luigi, then jumped to the platform above him. He almost slipped, but managed to grab onto the vines on the tree.

((Anybody else? ))

Luigi jumped upward.

"What the...?"

He looked down, and discovered he had trodden on a Goomba.

"Whoops, sorry! Wait, what am I saying? You're a baddie!" Luigi leaped up once more, just catching onto a protruding root above. Using it for momentum, he swung himself forward and onto the next platform. A tangle of vines had now come into view, blocking progress.

"We just gotta get rid of these..."

[Tails Doll]

((Well, umm, Abigor was left behind.))

"No Prob, Luigi!" Ampy then took out his blades and lunged at the vines.

[Paper Luigi]

((I guess Nar was left behind too...))
Speedster climbed up where Ampy had slashed the vines, to reveal a vigerous path of switches and latforms. And, above that, the top and the others could be seen. "C'mon, Luigi!, Speedster shouted. "We're almost there!"

[Celeste Dimentia]

Luigi climbed upward, beleagured. He pulled out his hammer, and knocked it into a nearby switch. In a flash, a set of stairs appeared, leading towards a platform teeming with monsters...

"Get ready, everyone!" Luigi started up the steps, weapon raised.
