I've trashed it time and time again and started anew. I tried using SMW Redrawn as a base, but I decided to just go with the original SMW look instead. I still have no clue how to make a good overworld with Lunar Magic, but I'll figure it out... somehow. Right now I'll just work on level designing.
Anyway, expect pics soon. I'd take a video to demonstrate, but my graphics card is so old HyperCam make ZSNES lag, I don't feel like paying for FRAPS, and ZSNES just says "Mencoder is missing" when I try to save the video. Bah.
Since CamStudio lags horribly too, here are some ZSNES snapshots:
From here, you can go up or down. If you go up...
(There are 2 of these, by the way.)
(There's an arrow made of coins pointing down right before this, I thought I took a pic of it... You land right near the goal.)
But if you go down the slope...

I like the scenery in this one. You can barely see it, but the sky color fits in well with the background.

You have trouble make events on the overworld, right?
Also, get SNES9x if you have level recording need: It has a Video Recording fonction.

I never manged understand how to make events. And I stopped working on my hack ever since SMWcentral went down.

Nice pics, and I love the Chuck joke. And if you want, I can beta test. (can't really say much from just seeing those pics)
Edit: By looking at the pics again, I noticed something. You do not have any blocks at all on that level (except for note blocks). You should fix that. |

Sure, I'll make an IPS patch and post in Your Creations once I have enough levels to fill up Yoshi's Island. I might not make my own hack, I might just join a team hack on SMW Central. If you're getting yours back together and could use another level designer... |
