Which explains why Moses visioned this "God"

I'm not really delving into religion and it's groups, but I do believe there is a god, of some sort. Though, I'm more on the agnostic side.

The rest was probably just jumping the bandwagon going for attention, or using it solve personal matters.

And if it wasn't for that all, very few would believe religions like they do now. In summary, I'm sorry, Christians, Jewish people and stuff, but you are believing what branched from a man on drugs and a bunch of attention whores.

Exactly. God talked to Moses as a "burning bush".

"Moses, we think you've been burning some bush." Quote from some comedian.

Religion is just a human belief, or more commonly, a thought. It is not 100% true yet people believe it is.
Scientifically there are aliens, but God is just a human's character. I do not believe in God.

So you think he let them torture and crusify him because he wanted to be fameous? Have you ever seen Passion of the Christ?

Who said he wanted it? Chances are, IMO, the romans simply got him and put him on the damn cross, against the man's will.

Torture was something Jesus was not expecting, he was aiming for popularity and fame. Well at least that is what I truly believe in.

You can't prove what someone's ambitions are sadly. So these theories aren't really proof of anything. Though they do still hold ground.

true, you can't disprove god, but you can't PROVE god anyways. It would be an anomely(spelling?), yes, but it could be some evolved giant's hand and who herds freakish beasts. Also, all religions believe in a god, but they all think it's their god. Who's to say it's the christian god or Budah or the muslim gods or jewish god or tribal africans' god(s)? Who's to say it's a god at all? To me, (an atheist), saying there is a god is like me telling you: "I own a dragon. I worship it, it is my god. It is secretly all of your gods. It lives in my garage. It floats above the car. You can't see it because it's invisible. You can't touch it because it phases through objects. You can't smell it because it doesn't breath our air, so it simply creates a small amount of heat, but it is so small, the human hand can't feel it and all objects can't detect it. You can't taste it because, once again, it phases through objects. You can't hear it because it's mute, but it controls everything." Now, would you follow this dragon along with me, or would you think I'm a crazy idiot and continue worshiping your god, who is the equivalent of my dragon?

You cannot convince me there is a god until this god is proven existent, no matter how many times you tell me, "Jesus loves you." Until then, I simply trust in science.

Syndicated religions have always been for the most part, one person's idea of god. I think a lot of people can't grasp onto their own beliefs, and thus they follow someone else's.

Syndicated religions have always been for the most part, one person's idea of god. I think a lot of people can't grasp onto their own beliefs, and thus they follow someone else's.
This mostly happens because of a chain of transmitting the common beliefs. Parents get children and force them into their religion, they do it peacefully, but I'm sure that, if the kid could resist and did so, it would become something... Spicier.

Then, the kid grows up, and it's stamped at them. That belief's been input when their brain wasn't developed that well, and they grew up with that.

But some kids, like 7-year-old me, managed to break through with a sudden idea.

One thing they say, God can do everything and wants us all to be happy. So my Super Nintendo starts to die, and I, taking that idea into account, judge that, since we don't live in a perfect world, it's hard to believe there is someone that can do everything and wants the best for us. This sounds selfish, but still true IMO.

As I grew up, I got into that more, it's been 9 years now, and my parents never managed to stop me, no matter how much they attempted to repress me. My cousin, an atheist too, told me the concept puppypaint posted thar, but using a horse, even while that makes no difference except for dragons don't exist.

People say that kids have the right to choose their religion, but they don't, because they get forced into their parents' religion unless they can fight back. My parents often try to force me back to christianity, but I can pwn them.

Still, I think that IMO, kids will never have the right to choose their religion until you leave them neutral for them to grow up some, then show them the basic religions (Not yet the branches) for them to choose it.
