Everyone already knows CD makes a better Dimentio, as he is generally accepted to be the "official" one. I realize we haven't really labeled people like that since the beginning of Digibutter and the whole Lord BowserxBowser thing, but still. CD is the real Dimentio. Try again. |

You are the dumbest person I've ever seen! Of course Petey has a personality! He has tons of it! From all the sport events and ridiculous adventures I've had with him, he's shown personality of some sort every time! If you don't know that, then let me explain for you!
When I was a kid an some aliens invaded our planet, I spied on Mario and Luigi and their older selves and saw them fight Petey, who roared like a savage beast and showed little mercy to his enemies.
According to Junior, after we found the remains of Petey's carcass and revived him, Petey attacked Bianco Hills and successfully stole a Shine Sprite, he flew to the highest windmill-thingy and peacefully waited for Mario to come to him. Once Mario landed, Petey roared loudly and accidentally broke the floor. Every time Petey got "hurt," he'd slap his face and toughen up.
Once we brought him back to life, Petey attacked Bianco Hills again and acquired a second Shine Sprite. After doing so, he slept lazily on a distant pillar, but when Mario came, he got very angry and attacked him.
That time we played golf, the overgrown was ridiculously happy when he hit far, but when he failed, he vomited in despair.
When that huge-headed plant joined a kart-racing tournament with King Boo, Petey showed no changes in emotion whenever they won or lost a race. Heck, he always looked pretty happy and peaceful. The most he ever did to show emotion was quietly groan or cheer. I'm not sure whether that was because of his intelligence, because he was taking it easy, or if it was because unlike before, he wasn't awoken from his sleep.
Later, during a tennis tournament, when Petey won a trophy, he jumped around happily, causing earthquakes that woke me up from my sleep, but then afterwards, he flew into the air, proud as can be.
Last time I kidnapped Mario and Luigi (Why do I rarely do that?), Petey ate some magic rock thingy that Peach needed, then battled against that pink princess woman. The magic had no effect on Petey, but after getting hit a few times, he got red (literally) with anger and stomped around much more, doing as many offensive attacks as possible before making himself defenseless by opening his mouth to vomit, which was a perfect moment for Peach to cry tears of water into Petey's throat. Throughout this whole battle, Petey always smiled and seemed to really want to conceal the fact that he was mad.
That one time I melted, Junior sent Petey to guard a castle, but while Mario was coming, Petey lied down and slept, but when Mario woke him up, Petey sprang into action and fought him.
During the Charged Strikers soccer tourney, Petey used tropical theme music and everytime he scored a point, he'd cheerfully play a short game of limbo, which he always won. When he lost a point and got mad though, he'd stuff an opposing team member into his mouth shortly before spitting him/her out.
This isn't exactly true to his character, but when that Sakurai dude filmed a movie with us, he made Petey kidnap Peach and some other princess, and Pete roared loudly at some pink thing before fighting him. When Pete was running low on health in this movie, he roared angrily and started fighting harder.
So, as you can tell, Petey is the type of guy who would probably talk like a beach bum if he could (Beach bums, fort those of you morons out there, tend to say "dude" a ridiculous amount of times), and he'd probably be relaxed and lazy most of the time unless woken up or angered, which would probably be when his voice would change into that of a scary, ferocious beast.
