Level up system? e.e

Like, every time you kill a person you gain a certain ammount of experience depending on their ammount of posts.

I was thinking about having items that raise your "max hp".

But killing people could give you benefits too I suppose.
So we have three options:

Incentive for killing, no punishment for death - Everyone kills everyone, no one cares about dying
Incentive for living, and not dying - fighting is not encouraged, but some will do it anyone for fun.
Incentive for killing and living. - fighting is encouraged, and potentially abused

My other poll shows that most people do not want bad things to happen to them when they die.

Here's my idea:

When a person kills another, the dead person should be unable to use non-revival items for a while (along with having a (GHOST) around their name.). Along with this, the killer gains EXP, but loses some coins for being a murderer. Every 100 EXP, people level up and gain more HP. But if you wanted to not be mean, you could buy items from the shop.

How about, you will get Exp. for killing. However, you will also get EXP. for looooots of other things, so it's not all everybody killing each other. Using items, posting, donating, logging on often, stuff like that.

EDIT: Oh, and you could lose EXP., too! Like, posting multiple times very quickly/spamming, Posting in a topic when you are the last poster/Double-posting. And lose even more EXP. for posting in a topic that the last two posts were yours/triple-posting. So many ways for this to work out...

Perhaps have it based on usergroups, if that's possible? Ex. if someone from the hero's group kills a villian, they are rewarded, but if they kill another hero they are penelized (and vice versa).

They could get XP for killing anyone, but not as much as a hero or a villian would get.

I was thinking that people who level up get five more in HP and one more in the amount of damage they can deal using poison mushrooms.

Why not get extra lives whenever your score reaches a certain ammount?

What about using the Score as EXP? Would be less complicated than making an EXP system. Razz

Shiaoran has a point. Using the score as EXP would be like the same system from SPM.

But leveling up (increased power & defense) would put newcomers at a disadvantage. I don't really want level 60s going around destroying everyone.
