Yoshi wasn't unaware he was a complete powerhouse, he was probably the most powerful of the party that wasn't slow, either. But he had to be careful.
Yoshi climbed up the stair thru the opening, but he found nothing. Well, he was sure it was close. |

Luigi followed soon after, pulling himself to his feet and looking around as he emerged. They were in the middle of a sunlit road, with buildings along either side. What was strange was that the entire place seemed abandoned. No people walked the streets - in fact, there were creatures - buzzy beetles and goombas and all manner of baddies. Most of the houses were boarded up, and the lights were out in each one.
"It's a ghost town..." muttered Luigi. A lazy wind started to pick up as he spoke, raising clouds of dirt up from the dusty road, which drifted along just behind him.
"Couldn't hurt to have a look around, eh?" |
