I have to disagree, I enjoy being hated by the masses. It's what let's me go to sleep every night feeling satisfied about my life. |

*laughs*
I remember all of those...oh the distaste we had for members with ip's at my school...XD
Really, I found the job to be pretty smooth (mostly because I did little-to-nothing) and just having the additional perk of seeing the prision and the little retarded users failing to join. But, then again, that was just my take on it, and I really didn't do much. =P |

That's why Pops doesn't have any friends :O
This doesn't change what I want. Of course, I love digibutter the most out of all the sites I visit. To be honest, I can't live without digibutter. It was and is the only perfect forum I have ever found for myself. Of course times will get depressing, but still, I've done allot for this place, and I will continue.
Like I said, If I am a moderator, My attitude will change completely. I wouldn't have a problem striking my friends, because I know its right. |

By a vague determinant of number, how many Mod actions do you make everyday? |

Hot damn.
So, how many retarded people have yet failed to join ?
We can shut down in peace, knowing that the lot of 'tards out there won't get us. Phew.
And Larry, forgive me if I find your "I will change if I become a mod" not very reassuring.
... I nearly jsut said I'd be good as a Mod 'cos o timezones.
WHY DOES EVERY HUMAN HAVE THE DESIRE FOR MONEY AND POWER ? That is what makes people abuse science and do, well, basically bad things.
Mankind is, for example, close to inventing a way of controlling computers with out minds. Call me paranoid, but I'd never use that, because if they can stuff out, like impulses to tell the PC what to do, it won't be long until they can get stuff in, too. Then, a bit of money would change ownership. Nothing much, just a couple of millions. A bit of information would be related. A few scientists would change workplace or start doing a new project. Maybe a year later, we get hypnotic, sublimal, subconscious or dream advertisement, if not outright manipulation and mind control.
Call me paranoid, but I won't let anything rummage through me noggin which I ain't build and therefore know what it's capable of.

OSNAP!
Seriously though, I've considered just about everything you've said, and I still think anyone who wants to be a mod is crazy..... It's not just a one day thing, It's for a LONG time.
The problem is that I really watn to help this site, And I want to help keep order :/ So yes, I am indeed stupid/crazy to think about being a mod.... But I'm willing to do it. |

Being a mod is extremely hard work, and I'm not even going to attempt to lie and say I know how it is. However, I do think that I would be a good candidate because I honestly care about Digibutter. I know it sounds corny, but stay with me now. I may have joined in the later dates of it, but I honestly wish I was here earlier. It's basically one of the only sites I visit anymore, and I would hate to see anything bad happen to it at all. I'm still in awe at how much Francis has put into the site, and how much the mods deal with on a daily basis. I know, on a smaller and crappier forum, what to do as a mod. I won't be biased towards anyone - I won't strike anyone without reason, and I won't let things slide just because the user is "epic" or "awesome". I want Francis, and all of the Moderating Staff, just to give me a chance to make this site better (not like that's possible to make it any more Hi-Technicaaal! xD)
You all won't regret it. |

None of us is a better candidate than another. We all have the morals and love of the site, the willing to risk our free time and reputations...
I love you other candidates. <3 |

I personally think I'd make a great mod. I like enforcing rules and wouldn't care if people hated me for it. That doesn't mean I'm interested in being one, mind you. |

IS it just me, or does everyone post, in a sumamry, "Man, that really looks hard... I don't know... oh, bugger all - ME ! ME ! ME !" ?
Why do humans all have that really, really STUPID and WRONG desire for power ? |

Ask someone who deals with Philosophy.
None of us can lie and say the thought of being a mod just for power hasn't crossed our minds. It's normal to want such a thing. However, I do want to help Digibutter more than I want to have power.

:\ Really? I don't think so. You've been advertising yourself for mod with walls of text all over topics that involve being a mod. Just because you say good things doesn't mean that you'll do good things. |
