Well I took down search for now, just to see how things run without it.
And I removed a lot of the profile info from postings.
Plus I tweaked some other random stuff, so you may notice some strange things...
At least the site should load faster now  |

Would those 'strange things' include groups of posts being moved around in a topic, or lots of posts from the start/middle of a topic being removed entirely?
I got both of those on seperate topics, but I'm not sure if it's just me or everybody seeing it. Links in a bit.
EDIT:  This very post just jumped backwards several spaces.
Link 1: Now, I definitely posted after some of those posts.
Link 2: About 30 posts are missing from the start of this one.
What might you have done that could cause this, Francis? |

Really. Google search is 100% USELESS. 90% of searches involve searching for a specific phrase, posts by a certain member, stuff like that. Google can't do ANYTHING.
Are you getting paid to keep the Google search up? That'd be the only decent reason you're still keeping it. .-. |

What I think should be done:
*Kick the Digigoogle search but keep the normal one.
*Either merge Star Carnival with Black Market, or kill it altogether.
*Many sites have subforums. I think that RPOT could maybe be subforum'd into RP, and Hi-Technical Support could be subforum'd into Feedback...
*Either subforum the Oekaki thing into Your Creations, or devirtualize it for good. It's nicknamed OhIt'sCrappy for a reason!
*DESTROY THE JAIL!!!! Maybe make it so that all that jaled members can do is send PMs to admins once per day for the duration of their jaling... |
