Personally, ghosts and divine beings are on completely different planes for me. Yes, we can see/hear/feel ghosts' activities. It doesn't point to God at all, because I have yet to see/hear/feel him/her/it.
Listen, I don't want to bomb your religion, but I get extremely uncomfortable when people are trying to say things like "God loves you" and the like. I feel like I'm pressured to accept the religion, and it makes me dislike it even more. I'm not saying you're pressuring me, Mariofan, but it's just the way I react to this stuff. I just simply can't accept it, and I can't help it. Yes, my dad has forced me to go to church, and pray, and that made me even more dislike...ee.
Oh, and that excerpt you said really made no sense to me. I'm not one to understand the bible. At all. All I get are "He"s and "Him"s and "Almighty"s and other various words beginning with capital letters that don't make sense to me. |

God's activities are also seen by those who seek. Would you like people to say '' you're crazy, there are no ghosts ''? Because I don't think that'd make you happy. I see God's activities just as much as you see ghost activities. This forum believes you when you say it, even I do, but when I speak of God suddenly we're going to doubt.
But if you don't believe it, how can you feel uncomfortable by it? Is there a chance that you aren't 100 % sure? I believe God loves you, and He wants you to be happy- He even offers you eternal life, and all you have to do is accept it. I'm not trying to be pushy. You can go ignore my post if you wish, but it is my task to tell you.
... Forcing to pray and go to church? Ugh- that's not what the Bible says. Some churches defect so awfully from the Bible. But because of what one Christian ( if he was really one ) did, you can't dislike them all- because that simple reasoning has caused racism, remember? Black people this, black people that, because one or two of them stole something.
The Bible is a book that is difficult to understand at parts. It requires reading it from begin start to end several times before you understand it fully, especially the Old Testament. I cannot say I was able to read through it like so, because I'm a slow reader, but I have studied super important parts of the book; I studied the New Testament together with the Old. Now I understand it better.
My whole point is this, one of the most important parts of the Bible:
God loved the world so much that He gave His only Son, so that whoever believes in Him will not die but have eternal life.
( simple interpretation, Joh 3:16 )

Those who believe in God are one step ahead when it comes to science, my friend. I'd wager you know less when it comes to the Bible, or the evolution theory and all around it. Only the particularly weak of mind would believe in coincedence without seeking good proof instead of taking it from books or TV.

The only paranormal stuff I've had happen to me is when, during the evening when I'm just about to go to sleep, I'll be incredibly certain that something is hiding nearby, causing a cold, irrational fear in my mind.
Now, I don't claim to know what's causing any of my stuff or yours - it might just be paranoia - but I've found that simply willing it to go away reduces the fear - if you are ready for something it cannot take you by suprise.

First of all, Newbie (Pokemoneinstein) and Mariofan9, stop while you still can. This seems like an opinion crash a la carte to me, and I don't want to get two... fundamentalist-ish people to start mudwrestling here.
Oh, and Geno - I meant that you may be psychic or something, I dunno; I don't really believe in things like that. Try wearing a tinfoil hat - Under / in a cap to avoid getting viewed as the local nutjob. Else, call the Psychonauts. Okay, the last one was a joke.
