But did we have Objection tags prior to Francis implementing them? No. He implemented them because of the huge demand (people linked to the OBJECTION! website all the time). Now, do we have fitting Emoticons that represent the emoticons you've given us? Yes we do. Therefore, there's no reason for yours. |

I think that one or two of those should be used, just because a large portion of the population happens to be Earthbound fans. I'm not really one, since I've only started playing Earthbound a few days ago, but meh.

Yes, :franish: would be an automatic win. Oh, and we need a waving :cookie monster: to serve as a "hello" emoticon, as well. Save for a few, most of the emoticons are generic. New ones would help bring flavor. : D
For the arguments that they could cause spam, I would think that emoticon spammers were spammers in other ways, as well, and would be punished similarly. I don't think a few additional images would cause the calm to spam.

I have a number of small animated emoticons that I made that we could probably find useful here. Most of them are Mario and Luigi.
I could make some more. I probably will, for I do that in my free-time.
Of course, I'd have to send them to Francis and he'd have to check them out and approve of them.
I say it would be more appropriate, since this is a gaming forum, that we should have numerous amounts of video game character based emoticons anyway. |

The objection tags were made because of overwhelming demand. We already have smilies that display the emotions portrayed in the smilies you gave us, so I see no need for yours to be implimented.
